In India the release of E72 will take some time as there is diwali in india .They have done heavy promotion on E63 & E71 . There is a huge pile of stock of these 2 cellphones with delaers so they want the stocks to be depleted first.
The company is not launching any new phones due to this reason, internationally i wonder why are they doing this but in india this is the primary reason
From a known source it is confirmed that in the last week of october they may lauch E72 at a cost between Rs23000 - Rs25000. All the 3 models E63,E71 & E72 will be sold even after the launch of
E72.

Its releasing next week confirmed in Mumbai.. on 23rd of Oct .. at Rs. 20000 approx..

Forget it ppl, they do not want to make official announcment for the release date so that more and more ppl get tired of waiting and consider E71 or E63 for an alternative. Nobody's gonna buy them after E72's released. So they need to clear those out first. E72 ,hands down, has killer specs. Supposed to be one of the best phones of the year.Unfortunately, nokia cares more about money than their customers and play around with the release date. BAddddd...

When is the E72 released in Sri Lanka?
We have been watching for the release date for long time but its just speculative. Can an official of Nokia say when it is released and from which part of the country it could be purchased.

Ive waited for e72 since July/August... they (nokia themselves) said release would be Q3 2009 and in time before diwali and chritmas... October is already Q4 2009 and Diwali gone very soon.
I had it enough by early Oct when by now it's still all specualtions on the release date. I'm now a happy iPhone 3GS :)
I still belive it is a great phone but can't stand the small screen. It's made for business I know but Nokia N-series is way too expensive.

to me... e75 has a pirated-and-made-in-china feel... hope you know what i mean... especially when it's in your hands.
reviews which say e72 has a tough metal feeling
beware china released e72 is without wifi... so if u tend to purchase it via oversea online... must check with them.

Sorry should explain more ,, i waited for this e72 since its mention months ago but waited and waited,,I wanted to get back to nokia symbian so scanned around to see what else on offer and got nokia n86 instead..Month after month passed and got fed of delayed e72.. My last post looked like i had just come on here and made a random comment..The trouble is its a fast moving market and people will choose other models,,i am still staying with symbian non touch scree...

BlackBerry Bold 9700 will be available in November.Seems like a better choice except for the camera. Nokia, wish you've done the right d**n thing by delaying this phone..... In singapore, it's quite obvious they're trying to clear off E71 and E63. Those 2 handsets are being heavily advertised putting on the lists such as "best buy","best phone of the year" or "hot deal". _|_ u Nokia.
Guys and girls, if you can't wait for E72, pls don't get E71 or E63. If you do, we(customers) fail.

I've been a Symbian nokiafanboy but got tired of waiting. BlackBerry Storm 2 on the way... sorry Nokia, can't wait forever for the E72.

Retired IR, 15 Oct 2009Dear AJ, This phone has not been release in Malaysia or ... moreI'm fr Malaysia too. I think if E72 price will be that much, I would rather go for E55 which has the same spec except for 5mb camera but for a RM500 cheaper.

i've been waiting for the e72 ever since it was announced and i'm tired of waiting. i wanna upgrade my SE c905 to a symbian phone, and i'm gonna get the n97 tomorrow.
