I've already got a N97 but was going to buy my wife the E72. Can't wait any longer so adios E72......way too long to wait for this baby, the price should be reduced now because of the bad customer service from Nokia.

will not wait no more , besides $500 for a phone these days is ridiculous
i would rather have a real mini computer for $300 and a regular phone

just met nokia dealer - training is over - it will be priced between 23 - 25k - this is a update from chennai , india. the phone will be available on 17th october - but nokia might surprise us and might delay the launch - i enquired with nokia , univercell, mobile store - all say october diwali festival release... - software and phone testeed all the brochures and cut our of ads have arrived

Just spoke one of the dealers in India. Phone available in without warranty @ 16-18K. Officially to be launched in a week or so!!! Smile!!!

nokia malaysia staff already confirmed they went for training on e72. was told it will be launched within this month to early next month.

i just called up nokia priority sales division in my area. they don even kno if it ll be released in india. they said, if its announced as oct 6th world wide, there ll be at least a week's delay in india. and after this release delay, it ll take another 2 weeks to put the model on sale. i don wan2 see e72 outdated before its even released.

oh bother it,,i am wasting my life waiting for this thing..I am getting a nokia tommorow either n86 or e71..ny n95 wrecked now and my se w980 is pathetic..sold 5800 cause defo hate touchscreen..I have got to get back with something i know and thats nokia but not waiting anymore,,need a smartfone like 3 months ago?? by the time this arrives in uk it will be half a year i would have been waiting and just had enough..thanx for any one who has helped answer my past questions but ive had enough..

Pathetic. No wonder Nokia has lost a lot of market on smartphones to the iPhone OS and Android since February. They can't even release the models at the right time. (check the latest sales data at tinyurl.com/ydlqcj4)

Yeah I'm tired of waiting. People, let's hear some suggestions for other models. Symbian or WiMo... When the E72 was announced ages ago there were few alternatives as good... but now the market has changed while Nokia was sleeping.
What should we get NOW instead of this vapourware?

I just noticed that this phone has been delayed again. I had a preorder set for october 12 but now Expansys stores in Europe delayed the date to 23 NOVEMBER 2009.
Adios Nokia... there are now interesting alternatives in the market and I have waited many months. Will wait no more.
Maybe they're fixing the firmware bugware mess that the E52 and E55 are.. ahaha.

Stop asking. It will be released on October 12 2009.
That is in 10 days from now. Stop bitching about the date and worry more about the lame beta-grade firmware that will no doubt come with it.
