I am happy to advise that Nokia E72 should hit the shelves in the last quarter of 2009 as shipping begins this quarter. However, the exact date is unconfirmed

Its not so much the wait, as it is the fact that they consantly change the reslese date.
Why dont the just wirte a big post on nokia webside when the phone will be relesed and then, by zusse, relese it on that date!
Like this the date could easely be pusshed till 2010...

Dear Friends and NOKIA Fans,
We have been waiting patiently for this phone for quite a while. I am suggesting that we wait for a month or two more (If it is not life threatening, which I dont think so). We let NOKIA clean-up or settle or solve the bugs (if they says the delays was due to bugs) on this phone. We dont want it to happen like the N97, a few weeks after its release the firmware has to be upgraded . If you are not patient enough, find alternative or hold on to your present phone, may be there is some blessing in disguise, who knows Nokia will provide with extra bonus software. We/I dont want to see this column full of complaints on E72 a few days after release. Thanks Friends.

Like someone said erlier, nokia did not stand up to its word, to relese the E72 end of Q3. I was extra waiting for this phone or for the E55, but NOT ONE HAS YET BEEN RELESED!!!
I am very disapointed of nokia...

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I read in Philippines HardWareMag magazine that it is due to be released Q3 but I think the article although in the August edition, was actually written ages ago. For price it had the usual TBC. Try phoning Nokia Philippines +63 2 886-1234, maybe they will have the magic answer.

From Jun until now, just 2 months
E52 already released, but why E72 in December
It is no reasonable.
I am not really understand about the difference between E52 and E72. I meant in software side. Is it really such big error cause E72 release in December?

I live in London and have got so impatient waiting but I'll wait until December. September is just next week and it fly by. We all have to be patient as it will be worth it. The only positive is that we have longer to save up. I am desperate for this phone and refuse to change brands. I love Nokia and their Symbian OS. I have got a Nokia 5800 which I bought in April. The touchscreen thing is not for me and crave buttons again. Guys just wait. It may even be released before then like aroung October or November. Keep December as your deadline. Good things come to those who wait. They have already advertised it on the Middle East Nokia website as "Coming Soon." After Middle East, it will be in my Europe specifically the UK. We all know Nokia have screwed up with the release date of this but Nokia are the top draw. It will be worth it IMO. GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT.

if anybody knows anyone from nokia tell them this why not release it 2010 . and it doesnt take a software to be fixed in 7 monthes .e72 anounced in june released in december that7 months what are you guys in nokia trying to the invention of the year .this phone is not those phone like n97 which need time . i still say nokia is not telling the truth about the software because it takes a week to fix a software or less not 7 months.if im not wrong 7 months is almost a year to reproduce a bussiness phone. to me 7 months just for a phone is to much what are they trying to build the jetson phone .its only a bussiness.shame on you nokia shame on you nokia .it seems to hard for nokia to reproduce a bussiness phone which has no touch screen no 8-12 mega pixel or latest SOFTWARE 9.4v I repeat SOFTWARE .e72 has 9.3 not thelatest 9.4 software.to tell the truth i see black berry canreproduce a phone which is similar in 1 month nokia 7 months .its shocking to see how a number one mobile maker needs 7 months for a normal bussiness phone what a shame.

keep waiting because by the time you get it the phone will not beworth to by.to me nokia is just lieing its way to finish from e71 and e63 its not logic to say to the world we will releaseit q3 and then make something up like software when i now a company like nokia wh owns sybian its self tells you software .and if software just to show you how a liar gets caught easy the 5530 has a sybian 9.4 not 9.3 and got released on time how came a software which is been in the market since 2007 9.3v of sybian have a problem out of a blue moon noia cant fix a software which is older than nokia n97 which is 9.4 .okia how are you trying to make a joke out .iwill tell you whats going on nokia has a fincial difficult wants to finish from its old phone lies to its people about software and finishes its bussiness.for a company you have screwed big time .samsung is much better it release in time like jet and omnia 2 which have a better processer than nokia e72.

I am waiting to purchase the Nokia E72. Not sure when it will be in stores, but whatever time it takes It worth the wait. What I can say about Nokia the phones are durable and good to go. Whatever the cost is, it surely worth the price. Nokia will always outlive all other phones. Big up to Dell.

dec09 means q4 and this means nokia is not up to its word why did it not say from the first time q4 and let everbody rest way say q3 and make as want the phone to me i have learned a lesson never by a phone which is to late because by the time you buy it other manufacture woud have advanced and does anyone know how to contact nokia or give me there email.

to all,,jus got an email tis afternoon from a manager working in.........it is clearly stated tat n has been confirm e72 will be released in DEC 09. the delay was due to many softwear problem . we need not to dicuss tis topic anymore as it is pointless to do so . rem..it will oni release in Dec 09..

hi frens,
the little xperience i've had with the e72....needless to say, its a beautiful phone!!!
a nokia personnel was testing the prototipe n couldnt help myself but ask for it.
very elegant piece. but am worried bout the keypad quality, they're very similar to the e63 ratheer than the e71.
overall handfeel is good but i still prefer the e71.
well, frens, we'll just have to see furhter once the e72 is in the market.

teddy let me tell you something if a phone company tells you q3 and the phone is released q4 which is oct-dec that means 2 things either the phone is not good or thecompany cant give its word right or says something and does another thing.
