To K, yes it can do copy and paste. You can select the the texts you want to copy then paste it in somewhere else such as web browser, notes, sms template and office programs. But you can't select text from the web.

            Hi All,
Would anyone has a clue if you can copy and paste text in this phone?

I think this looks like a promising biz phone. From my own practical experiance BB Bold does the whole 9 yard for a biz phone except some problems while useing the net browser where it remains a mystery to fix!

don’t purchase any product from hot spot retail chain because their products and rates are not reliable, they are all fake. more over they specially deals in discontinued models of the companies like motorola, samsung and sony ericsson because these phones are of very poor quality and are providing huge profits.

xagent, 17 Aug 2009Has Nokia upgrade the battery life or the power consumption... moremy friend, there is no phone that can match the E71 battery life.. and don't even mention the blackberry since that is just rubbish :)The E71 battery allows you 13hours of non stop GPS use, which is amazing, and after having one for almost a year,it is still do disappoint in any way...;)

My battery goes slightly more then 2 days with 10h/day of push mail and 24/7 i'm on MSN chat.

I must say it is on EDGE, disabled 3G. A lot of blackberry's simply lack 3G, that's why they seem to go for longer but they are crippled out of the box. At least I have a choice.

Has Nokia upgrade the battery life or the power consumption since E71???? I heard if you're using E71 with always online (actively chatting, using email, opening webs), the battery won't pass one day.
Blackberry have data compression, so they'll just be consuming lower power, so their bat will pass one day even used in active online.

Great phone but I very dissapointed with the lack of infra-red port, I have a nokia E71 with infra-red and this comes handy as a remote control replacement for all my equipment at home.

Very interesting feature found on E52 of which I believe is also applied to E55 and E72. I do notice a flickering backlight LED of which it explains the battery extended life....

Nokia shud wake up & know wot they ar doin becoz things ar goin down on dem & dey feel reluctant as if nothin is hapenin. 4instance nokia 'll manufacture phone 2day, show D sample or D picture online & say comin soon & people 'll be waitin 4 them 2 release it. before u know it those chinese unregisterd & unauthorised company 'll produce somtin dat look exactly D same & write it NOKIA on D phones body & be sellin it even b4 D original is being released by nokia, now people 'll be decieved, when dey buy it before u know wots up it 'll get spoild & people start complainin dat nokia dont know wot there ar doin. I just dont know why nokia should not sue those companies dat produce those useless phone in D name of nokia to curt. Its not funny nokia shud wake up becoz diz companies ar ruining D image & buisnes of nokia & its time to react. Like D E72 is out & being sold & still nokia wrote D original on there website comin soon, imagine?

Nokia Playing with its true fans, they will always leave a glimmer flaw to confuse its fans and never creat a perfect device, Like everything is perfect in this phone if the display was altleast atleasttt 2.4" whats the sense of 2.36 Rather it should have been 2.6" sorry to say BB'S are unbeatable, but this is a good phone except the screen size, i bet when its comes out compare the 16 M colors to 65K of the BB 8900 and you will feel the difference, we dont need the camera if business and conectivity is the main concern then whats the purpose of 5 MPIX camera with a smallish display. sorry but Nokia is Playing to provide cover the its upcoming models may be E73.
