No infrared is bit of a dampner - I won't be able to transfer camera images without all the set-up hassles.

i was deciding on a phone between nokia 5800 and e71...and i got the 5800...good phone...but i also love full keyboard phones...i will wait for the review and then decide....look is beautiful....look at those giant speakers on the back...:P

Please confirm if E72 has infrared like E71.
It is not listed in the specifications, however when comapring it with other phones on the nokia site it says yes?
IR is still relevant and should be included.

We don't need 5mp in e72 , think about quality 3,2mp is fine but quality must be same as in k800 ;] and vga@30fps and this phone is perect

The redesigned front of this fone looks better than e71 for me, but the back cover design layout especially the latch, doesnt look good, as it is likely to accumulate dirt over time, unlike e71 with which the back cover looks very smooth.

This is my next phone.
I planed to buy a E71 but now I can wait 2 or 3 months to get this nice update.
Nothing revolutionary nut few welcome features :
- optical keypad
- 5 MP snapper
- design update (I love it)
I hope the battery life will be on top too !
DAMN I LOVE THIS NEW PHONE, WAY MORE ELEGANT THAN AN IPHONE...

Frankly speaking, it has more potential than blackberry. It's just too bad, in my country, there's no data bundling for this cellphone like a blackberry one.
