I am using E72 for around 2 years at Jaipur India. The only problem that this phone has is "Memory Full", so you cannot run any good applications on it. I had to uninstall many of the good applications which I would love to use. Now I am only using it as a simple phone, not like some smart phone, I think its not a smartphone category phone, as the ram available is only 40-45 MB executable RAM only.
Recently when I saw the update alert on my NOKIA Suite that latest update version 091.003 is available for E72 I had a great joy, because I was using 081.003 that time and I thought that I will be able to enjoy lot more of features there. After I downloaded and installed the latest software update version 091.003 from NOKIA Suite to my Nokia E72 phone, it started giving problems. I am now facing problem in syncing my phone contacts with NOKIA Suite which is not happening now, the error code: 80100011 8d5e000a.
I visited 2 Nokia Customer Care Centres in Jaipur in this hot summer and both declined to update and correct my phone as they do not have latest software version of 091.003. They said that they have only 081.003 which is before the 091.003 the version is not available for India at present. If software version of 091.003 for Nokia E72 is not available with NOKIA Customer Centres in India, then why it is available on NOKIA Suite to download for Indian users? Who is responsible for creating all the problems to the Nokia mobile users?
I am in a fix now, and I can not understand that how to correct my problem of Nokia E72, as already it has got too much problems and now due to this problem I am totally lost.
What is the solution for abovementioned problem of not syncing of Phone contacts with NOKIA Suite? Please reply urgently on nkumar48@gmail.com

For those who unable to update your nokia.....
Probably your Nokia had been beyond warranty period. Nokia does not support update anymore for their mobiles which is beyond warranty period.
Solution is =
1. Go to Nokia Care for updating your phone (probably paid)
2. Download Phoenix Service Software for free (Googling how to do that)

Remember:1-you will loose all your personal data and downloaded apps-phone become as new,recommended backup through PC suite
2-if you leave microSD card in,it will be erased too
3-phone must be charged and conected to charger ( or at least fully charged)
4-general nokia code is 12345
You will find more on net or youtube,search for hard reset nokia e72
If you dont want to loose your data and apps,maybe would be enough only SOFT RESET,code should be #7780# (not sure)
PS:to keep your phone clean,is good everytime you finish browsing net to delete phone memory(i do it even when i go from site to site) and very handy app is x-plore where you can see (and erase) all data,its for free to download on SYMBIAN-FREEWARE (i think).
Ps2:dont download any antivirus app-you may ruin your phone,there is NO virus on symbian.good luck

Hi, from South africa, latest software version available is 054.005, any idea when the newer versions will be released for South Africa, its been more than a year since the last software release, please help

Nokia E72 is really nice to use.i m using it since 3 month. I got a problem that the mobile become hot while i open any big file such as,downloading items or watching videos on youtube. It only seems in gprs not in edge service.

good day all. i have a Nokia E72-2. its an excellent phone however i recently started to experience some problems with the RAM. i keep getting a notification that the phone memory C: is full. i've deleted as much as i can to no avail. can someone direct me as to the best solution to this problem. this also causes the phone to freeze up and i have to keep rebooting. thank you in advance for any assistance...

I've had the E72 for 2 years now. The phone crashed occasionally from the onset. It got worse after the 1st firmware update. Things improved after succeeding updates. The thing that disappoints me the most now is the LAG. Running even just the music player can slow down everything else. It can take up to 30 seconds to open a received msg while listening to music. Running just the photo gallery, it sometimes takes up to a minute just to open a folder. It's ridiculous! I'm getting rid of this, finally, and moving on to Android.

I got myself the E72 and was disappointed with it in the first week. It got stuck every now and then and I had to reboot it. My bill ran up very quick because of apps running in the background. I kept trying to close them and this did not help. The owners manual was of no help. Had to run to Goggle every time I had a hiccup. Not happy. However friends have the same phone and are not as grumpy about it as I am....Lol
