This is the same browser that owners of newer Symbian phones will get when the Anna update is released. The benefits of the new browser include improved performance, support for International Domain Names (IDNs) and also supports non-ASCII letters such as Arabic or Chinese.
The other major feature of the firmware update is the updated Ovi Maps app. The software offering free voice-guided navigation will go to version Ovi Maps 3 SR4 on Symbian 3.2 devices, bringing indoor positioning through WiFi, as well as travel and recommendation services such as those through Lonely Planet. The final good bit about this update is the addition of a set of emoticons to the listed devices, which can be used when sending MMS. You can read all the article here:

Hey please someone share some news on Nokia E72's proposed update to Symbian Anna...
There's been no discussion on this topic yet on gsmarena.i am a E72 user and find the features perfectly balanced,battery life suffcient,connectivity excellent and media lovable.
Have installed isms,whatsapp,nimbuzz & some great games.all are perfect.
I'm just anxiously waiting for the Anna upgrade...Nokia please listen^^^^^

hi guys...as of now i m running my e-72 on softwr vrsn 51.018,but soon i m thinking of upgradation to the latest vrsn i.e. 52.005. If i dont want the changes that took place aftr upgradation, can i downgrade to my previos vrsn..?

OVI maps are updated with speed limits for each roads.
So if you are within limit is will show speed highlighted in green, orelse in red!

I've been using this phone for almost a year and I can say that this phone is amazing.. The battery is superb even when im using this phone for chat 24/7. It doesn't also get heated when u charge it and very user friendly..I usually change phones once in a while and i have tried all brands of phones but still it doesn't cross my mind to sell this phone.. I really love this phone ..dont regret buying this...

U can download joikuspot software from ovi store, using which, ur mobile becomes a wifi transmitter. u can configure multiple emails, and refresh rate is too good. the optical touchpad is reallly worth. Long press optical touchpad opens up many options.

Waste of money
having nokia e72 for 15 months and now camera is not
working. service center says for repair it will cost
5000 rupee.
i don't think it worth too much,but now there is nothing
to do with this phone.
pls suggest me better phone of any good company.
i need: good camera,wi-fi,bulk sms etc.

I would suggest you use skype over wifi, but if you have unlimited data plan, you can enjoy it anytyme. iSMS is a threaded messaging app. very good app indeed. if you are to get it, look for the version 1.11 (final).

Nomanshah, 21 Aug 2011I Purchase Nokia E72 in Metal Grey COlour before 1 month, b... moreflashlight only works when the screen is locked- which makes sense if you think about it- you can also download flashlight from ovi which actually uses the screen as a light.

i have used too many phone even the iphone but believe that e 72 i am too much satisfied i love using Gprs and all internet application and utube so far i have not found better than that may be iphone 4 but i am not ipho guy love nokia and that e 72 so far i found best even messaging is best
