Can anyone tell me witch phone is better, this one or 5730? I'm thinking of buying one of these headsets but I just can decide. If anyone of them has the slightest advantage over the other please tell me. Also, in the review of the phone they sad that you have to pay to get office 2007 support but in the specs page it says that the upgrade is free, so if anyone knows what's really the case please tell me. Thx!!

This phone was one of the most troublesome phones i've ever known. I first got this phone in April this year, it gave me trouble from the first week but unfortunately i didnt get back to the store untill 5 weeks after purchase. I've since been to and from the o2 store every week for the last 7 weeks. I brought it to the store 4 times and collected it three times. The phone would be sent for repair and it would come back and be gone haywire again a few days later, in one instance it went down in less than 24 hours!! The number buttons would become non responsive and certain button would do functions you didnt want it to do, ie: mark a message for delete when you were trying to open a message. Battery power was terrible, i run a business and i'd have to charge the phone every night. Signal strength was poor and probably cost me a lot of business through missed calls. Whilst on the phone the person on the other end would hear my voice go from a normal volume to really quiet and could not hear me and then the sound would come back again. Voice recorder i would use as a dictaphone to take notes for when i return to the office, and when i'd get back, there would be segments missing from the voice file, causing me to loose important information.
But i still do like the phone and they are a great phone when they work properly, except for the signal of course. My advice is that if you buy one of these phones use it as often as you can for the first few weeks, if it works ok then great, but if you have any hassles with it, bring it straight back to the shop and get rid of it, not matter how trivial the fault is. Afterall for a €350 phone it has to work well every time and have absolutely no issues at all to justify its expense.

adi, 20 Jul 2010Does this fone supports VOIP calling and video calls on VOI... morevoip is available on most smartfones even e75 its getting the settings, search in google "voip on nokia e75" ..video calling using voip i dont know of ..Its the carriers voiding most situations cause they want you to use their network to get revenue..What about gizmo and fring?? Voip has to go via wi-fi else your using the networks obviously costing money and defeating the object..

this is uber high tech fone.,with over 50 buttons onboard its a multimedia and buisness mobile..its served me well and had 5730 before e75 but its cheap and plasticky e75 is a more proffesional piece of kit.
