i read another review saying that the accelerometer doesn't work well, is that true? the camera's quite hazy as well. i'm having second thoughts about buying this phone. err somebody help.

Try this. Switch off the sensor setting (settings, phone) that allows you to silence the phone by tapping it. What is happening here is that the phone starts ringing, as a result it vibrates, and it then thinks it is being tapped (hence of course silencing the ring…). There will be a firmware upgrade that will solve this issue very soon.
