I charged it fully on Friday at noon and never turned it off. I made several phone calls, surfed (over both 3G and wifi) and did plenty of email and didn't need to recharge until Sunday noon. That's 48 hour of use and standby.

Do any one have a problem with the stand by time? The phone need to be recharged after 12 Hours stand by.

Loyal Nokia Customer, 23 May 2009I just purchased my fifth Nokia, so I think that qualifies ... moreMy first day the battery only lasted about 4-5 hours until I turned off the wifi search feature. I charged it Friday around noon and didn't need to recharge until Sunday afternoon and even then it had two bars on the battery meter. I'm happy with the battery so long as wifi searching is off.

I have had this phone for about a week. At first I hated it. Nokia's email program is really Nokia Messaging repackaged to look like a standalone client when in fact you email is retrieved from your servers by a Nokia server first. The result is piss poor performance and no real IMAP IDLE (push) support. This drove me nuts until I installed the third-party Profimail app and it's sooo much better. Much like Chattermail on the Palm platform with good IMAP and IDLE support.
The battery life is great so long as you turn off Wifi searching. They keyboard is a bit large for what I'm used to (Centro) but I'm adjusting and I like being able to use predictive on the phone pad for SMS without opening the slider.
Overall I'm really liking this phone alot so far. No real problems but it is a tad slow when launching apps and the like.

does the user interface lag ? i mean the interface on N-series lags compared to the sony handsets which is very annoying ..
can anybody tell me for sure about this lagging thing in e-75 . i am seriously thinking of buying this handset if it doesn't lag . :)

I am writing you from Romania.In the present I have got two mobile phones from nokia ,6220 classic and e 51.
But in the future I want to buy an e 75 or an e71.as a design ,e 75 is much more beautiful than e 71 but what I want to know is about battery life from both of them.
In Romania both phones are available on the market ,excluding e 55 and e 52 .
In spite of the fact that the release of e55 was announced somewhere in the middle of May I couldn't find any e 55 for sale .now,why am I talking about e55?because in my opinion e 55 as a design and functions is something between e 75and e 71.

Hey i just got the E75 and i must admit it is far beyond what i expected. If you get the chance, i well recommend you to get it, perfect setup, easy to use, appealing, perfect. i've gone on the web connected to my WLAN and its just like the Web on my laptop so it's really different to other phones. And the 2 way messaging styles are ideal and smart.

I am planning to buy E75.Can anybody suggest me whether it'll be wise to buy E75.The features of E71 and E75 are all same but the look of E75 look gorgeous.Can anybody please tell me the performance superiority of E75 over E71?

Loyal Nokia Customer, 23 May 2009I just purchased my fifth Nokia, so I think that qualifies ... moreMaybe you got a faulty device. My friend's e75 easily gets 1.5 days of medium-heavy use. It's sometimes hard to calculate phone batt against each individual's usage... but whatever you are saying sounds unlucky. Maybe after 3-4 recharging cycles it could get better. I would advise you go to the Nokia Care Center to fix your phone.

May i know how do i use the music player in it. I have transfered my songs and they end up in the SONGS folder under GALLERY. can anyone help me out on this? xD

This phone looks great & everything.
Actually I'm thinking about getting it , but i i've a lot of bad experiences with Nokia phones so do u recommend this phone instead my current W910i ?
