Nokia E7 goes on pre-order in Finland, ships next month

19 January, 2011

We are afraid we have some bad news for those of you eager to get their hands on a shiny new Nokia E7. The metal-clad smartphone is now available on pre-order in Finland, but it won't start shipping until February.

If you want to be among the first Nokia E7 owners you can place your order now. Both the white and the black versions are available for a pre-order price of 600 euro. Shipping will set you back an additional 8 or 16 euro depending on whether you pick the standard or the express option.

Nokia E7

At least now we have a specific timeframe to look forward to. There were plenty of speculations as to what is causing all the delays, but we are not going to get into them here. The important thing is that the wait is almost over.

The bad news for Nokia is that in February the whole world will be waiting for the avalanche of announcements to come at the MWC. After missing the holiday shopping spree that's the second thing that might hurt the Nokia E7 market prospects.
