Samsung India extends free screen replacement period for certain Galaxy displays

Samsung India started offering free screen replacements to Galaxy phones with a green line on the display and said the promo affected units have until September 30 to be replaced.

Today, the company announced an extension until December 31, 2024, but only for a limited number of devices. The Galaxy S21 trio, S21 FE, and S22 Ultra are eligible.

The full list of Samsung phones (with their model numbers is):

• Galaxy S21 (SM-G991B)
• Galaxy S21+ (SM-G996B)
• Galaxy S21 Ultra (SM-G998B)
• Galaxy S21 FE 5G (SM-G990B/E)
• Galaxy S22 Ultra (SM-S908E)

The replacement is free and can be done in any Samsung service center, even if the warranty expired, but there are some conditions.

The device must not have any physical or water damage. It must be with the first owner of the phone, and the original invoice should be kept. Also, the device must be within 3 years of purchase.
