i just got mine and there appears no problem after reading all your opinions. the problem with the keypad touching the screen can be avoided my just being careful. better yet, buy the screen protector by capdase. they sell both for the lcd and the front screen.

there is a new FW update which is V 07.40.1.2
i updated my E90 through nokia europe (united kingdom). so far so good. thanks.

I believe users' carefulness can handle the screen disturtion problems, but nevertheless, can it do "touch screen"?

just got my e90 on nov. 2 here in the philippines waited it for a long time..well all i can say is that its a magnificent and unbeatable fone!!!lucky 2 have a powerful phone..a lot of people are looking for this phone and its hard 2 find bcoz its out of stock up to now!!!of all the phones I chosed this,before I was choosing for iphone or this?? I chosed this bcoz its all in one device!!satisfy w/ it, no regrets!happy I got one!!!

How can Nokia engineers make such a big mistake by letting the e-90 keyboard touch the screen... dont you think they should redesign the e-90 recall all the earlier e-90 and give a free replacement... why not Car companies always do that (may not be the whole car though)

E 90 is the best product of your recent introduction you have to add with telephone
car-kit and table top charger
present your E90 IS SELLING IN DUBAI 950$ IN retail.
all costly model should attach with car kit and table charger.
we are Planning 2008 complementry from our co is E90 FOR vip costomers

The scratches on the screen are mostly seen when the backlight is off. However, they can still be seen to a lesser extent when the backlight is on.
I think that the main issue is that it is annoying, especailly after paying a substabtial price for the phone.

Isa veird , uhm, how you say, isa not nice luking? yes, that vat I em saying. Pleas excuse my english, I em fram Russia. This do not even luke like a cell phone, isa luke more like a dicktionary. I dont like how this phone luke, I vud not bye it. My grandmather had this phone, I ask her vhy she bye it but she said nothing bak to me. She vud not tell me. I dont vant to be meen to Nokea though, but I em trying to be onest.

To what extent do the scracthes on the screen cause interfence ie. you only see them when it is on or off? does it blur the screen so that it is not viewable? is it distorted? No one has every explained the degree of the "problem"

Hi all...
I got th3 4th E90 2 days ago. The first three had speaker, microphone and restart problems.
E90 was out of the market for 6 weeks here in Lebanon and this week a "New Batch" finally arrived. I paid 1250$ for it with warranty coz I bought it from the Nokia Agent...
Dont be too happy people, it still sounds terrible when you make a call and the keyboard still leaves a print on the screen on the inside... I found no difference whatsoever...
I like the phone anyway... I will use it for a while then get rid of it if something better comes up.

I bought E90 last week i think it is the old version.
YES ! the keyboard leave print at the screen ,And the sound quality not good special when i turn the call to speaker,the nokia dealer fixed the sound problem i think! by replacing some piece from the speaker, and they fixed the hanges of the system, but still the sound speaker when turn on still same problem some time, and the print of the keyboard still exest!

Hi All,
Some time ago, there was discussion about problems that were reported regarding the E90 communicator:
- Microphone problem
- LCD display is scratched by the keyboard.
Since then (about 2 weeks ago), no post related this (as far as I looked for).
So, my question is if anyone knows about
updates (Nokia referred this issue? Are the the new models are O.K? Etc.). You can also
point me to links.

Hi,
It is good thing to have a smart phone, but what about health safety? Many studies shows that the rays causes malignant cells (cancer), I hope that it’s not true, but I think that it is high time to ask such questions.

nokia europe says it can accept upto 4gb...nokia uk say upto 2gb only...which is which? anyone?
