Wow, the e90 seems to be the phone to buy, if you don't want it to work! Looks gr8 and maybe gives the right image, but don't lend to it anyone or else! Shame to ALL those people Nokia have sold them to, when will they perform an international product recall. I think it's long over due. How do they get away with this nonsense?

Dear IgorSA,
i repeat what i said b4. pple having problems with the E90 can be all solved.
1- mic problem is solved. replaced with a new upgraded microphone.
2- keyboard scratching screen is solved. keypad frame is replaced with the upgraded version.
3- inner LCD scratched is also solved by: replacing the Inner LCD with the upgraded version wich has a thicker layer not to be scratched.
4- if ur having software problems its also solved. upgraded the phone to the new version. V 07.38.0.2
i am workin or not workin for NOKIA my friend the phone is so damn gr8 and outstanding. and i personally had a mic problem and it was replaced and fixed and now no problems at all.
my E90 is runnin smoothly and gr8.
NB: if the service center in your area is not giving you the right solutions then man i preffer to send immediately an email to NOKIA complaining abt your service centers in your region.
and plz man and all other pple out there critisicing the E90, dont do so if u have no idea how things r being fixed and solved.
and to all of you out there that wants the E90 i advice you to get one. if and only if you use it for business use.

It’s no longer free when the warranty of the phone runs out. I was told last time I went to Nokia. I think that’s wrong software updates should be free for the life of the phone.

Hi JK. I'm from South Africa. What your dealers are telling you, it's true. E90 is a faulty phone. Most of them a returned back to Nokia. I'm waiting for my E90 already 7 weeks to be fixed, and still no news from Vodacom SA.
PS: Don't listen to T.A.K. - it looks like he's working for Nokia, & tries to keep the people waiting for realising by Nokia of fixed batch of E90.

Hi,
I m writing this from Nigeria. I wanted to buy Nokia E90, but all the dealers are advising me not to buy, because many of their customers returned E90, it has lots of technical/software problems. In short many of the distributors are not selling it here.
Is it because of the firmware? Is there any updates available for Nokia E90?

I bought this phone and loved every thing in it , its all good everything is exceptional but there is one major draw back which is that ugly marks started to appear on inside screen from the keyboard in a phone with a price like it is ridiculous

I was after a little feedback on the E90 from people like myself who have used the Ericsson Smartphone series (P800, P900, P910i & P990i). How does this Nokia device compare (the touchscreen apart)? I'm told there were issues with it when it was originally released, have these been resolved (including the keyboard causing the screen damage)? Also is the Symbian UIQ OS I know from the P-series the same on the E90's S60?

The sound was cutting off while I was speaking, & the inner keypad was touching the display.
PS: Take care more than 50% of the guys on this forum are lying. I beleive that Nokia didn't release yet the fixed batch (no proofs yet on-line)

Hi all, can anyone please help me! How doone sync your e-mail form your laptop and E90 when use a normal pop account? PC suite oes not give such an options, Calender all of that but no e-mail. PLase Iwould apreciate it very much!!

what the software Version that was flashed on ur E90??? if they only flashed the update for the version u had this wont work... ok... make sure u have the MCU SW 07.38.0.2... my friend if the problem persist when u flash the new SW Version, format your memory card... u might have a virus that is effecting ur phone...

Someone please help!!!
I bought E90 2 months ago but now it restarts it self after every 3-4 hours . I have even updated the software but it didnt helped.Kindly help me that how can i correct this error.

I really want to buy the phone and have been waiting for over a week now but was told that the phone has some defects and has been taken off the market....they are unsure when the ohone wiould actually be back in the market.....nevertheless i feel this is undoubtedly one of the best looking phones, smart sophisticated phones i have ever seen....cant wait to get my hands on it

I know that there was a lot of talk about the keys touching the screen, and a faulty speaker and such, and people said that NOKIA solved the problems. I went to buy the E90 this morning from AXIOM but they could not tell me if the phone I was buying was from the new batch or not, and they had no idea about the faults mentioned above. Does anyone know how can anyone tell from serial numbers if a phone is from the newer batch?? Thanks.
