Had a pretty bad experience with a 9500 when it crashed abruptly and could not be recovered. Lost plenty info. Had a free replacement 9300 but I gave that away and bought a Sony Ericsson P900i at the time. The pain was just too much! Hopefully E90 is stable!

I'm a dedicated Sony Ericsson P series user. Got the P1i, this is the only Nokia that comes close in its class.

i just purchased nokia 5700 and am very impressed with the improvement in speed of the cell and features. I wanna buy an e90 but am actually waiting for its upgrade with 8gb and that would be my last investment in a cell phone.

another thing i want to know the inner VGA camera thats there can it be used with yahoo as a web camera.................which program to use for it..............no one seems to show pics and videos on the inner camera.....................

hey Thanks T.A.K.......thank you very much....you always reply to my problems...thank you..hey one guy has put up that the new lot of nokia E90 are out in the market ....he has it.........he has not put his name.....but all you guys that get the new lot of Nokia E90 plezz tell us what is the difference between the old one and new one...........do put up some pics if youll can of the new ones like the new keyboard pics and stuff......thank you............

Guys, more than a half of E90 are returned back worldwide to Nokia, ' cause of 2 main faulting problems:
1. the keypad buttons are touching internal screen;
2. the mic. is faulting.
for the same reasons are gave it back mine also.

I don't know E 90 but I had a Nokia Comunicator which went damage for three times and Nókia didn't be able to repair it, neither give a new one. I have a bad impression on Nókia. By the way does the E 90 have fax machine?

I got my E90 last Aug 31. It went to Nokia Care for repairs on Sep 3 because of noisy/crackling speakers. I got it back Sep 6 and it is back again in Nokia Care the next day because the screen brightness cannot be adjusted for the inner screen. I am really suprised at these probelsm for a high end phone like this.

abt the firmware it is V1.0 07.24.0.3 now this firmware has an update. it is V1.1 07.24.0.3. it is the same but the update is called Minor. so when u get ur E90 let them install the new minor which is V1.1
abt the release in the USA i really dont know abt that. sorry

New Batch Of E 90 already out in the market so u will get a new models of E 90 i got one
2 days back and that is perfect .Best Phone by NOKIA

Likes:
Good, solid, durable quality and probably the best 'communicator' Nokia thus far. This phone will appear wear-free after years of use.
Info on inside screen available on front screen.
Much improved cable jacks. The 9500i required precision visual concentration to insert cables ... and then they dislodged again.
Confirms my view that Nokia makes the best phones by far.
Dislikes:
The USB cable has a built-in 'kink' that forces the jack upside down. This existed even with the previous 9500i and they again got it wrong.
I'll probably learn more, but for now there are useless items on the front screen that I just don't want to see. I am trying to get rid of 'configure voicemail' and 'WLAN scanning off' ... who cares?!?
Short battery life.
Do not even attempt to use the earphones whilst driving, it is a tangled, knotted, sticky mess and you are guaranteed to cause an accident.

thanks T.A.K for all the info.........thank you............T.A.K i got one more question plezzzz......the old nokia E90 had what Firmware number and the new nokia E90 the updated one has what Firmware number.......plezzz tell me as that is the only way to see if i am getting the latest one or no.......do you know of any site that has the old pics of the phone and the new pics difference of the phone.........

great design and resolution.. but why can't i download yahoo go or yahoo mobile? an alert is prompted they ae not yet available with my fon. can anybody teach me to have it? also yahoo messenger? thanks
