To T.A.K,
Hey, i also am not complaining from anything on my E90. everything is running very smooth, except the PTT freezes my phone!
I think i have the latest firmware, yet my PTT is acting up. I checked for updates through Nokia Software Updater and it tells me that V 07.24.0.3 is the latest. which is the same version i have when i dial *#0000#. Should i reinstall the same firmware or do you know of an even newer version out there?
Thank you TAK
Lami
P.S. There is no fax compatibility for the E90 to date, unless i am mistaken, please let me know :)

To All,
i have the E90 and i have no problem with it. its excellent. no freezing when goin to PTT, 100% balanced on a flat surface, no speaker nor microphone problems, and inaddition the ineternal keyboard is not effecting the inner screen in anyway.
- if u have a problem with the ineer key keypad touching the screen, then go to ut nearest dealer and let them change the keypad frame to the upgraded version. when it is changed, u can c that when closing the phone the screen wont touch the keypad at all... problem solved.
- if ur phone is freezing then install on it the latest firmware.
- if its not balanced then let the technicians of ur nearest dealer change the soft pads.
- the first release of E90s have defective microphones. if u have warranty go to ur nearest dealer and let them change the board. cause the mic if a chip on the board. and the technicians r not allowed to touch the board cause of its sensitivity. if you dont have warranty well, u should have thought abt gettin a high end phone with warranty...
there all problems solved.

I think we pretty know by now who is being sincere in their complaints and comments, and who is just messing about and talking shit. i think posting videos is a good idea and a bit too much at the ame time.
Also, if you think the phone is big, heavy and ugly, go buy something else! Communicators have their loyal people and trust me, here in Dubai, there is a 12000 waiting list on this E90. They will buy it no matter what people say!
I got it for 3 weeks now, and it's beautiful. Just as great as the E61i which was my favourite Nokia to date!

it is really big, heavy and ugly!
I think a phone with a big display must be touchscreen but e90 is not.

I live in Dubai UAE, i has the E90 for about 3 weeks now. costs AED 3500 (US1000) original directly from nokia. I am not facing any of the problems anyone is mentioning. everything in my E90 works great and smoothly except for one issue no one has mentioned.
Only problem i face is that every time i click on my PTT option my phone freezes and must remove battery and restart. if anyone has any suggestion would be great.
It's a great phone and i am very HAPPY and satisfied!

E90:_ I am a regular user of Nokia communicator used 9110, 9210, 9500, 9300 and 9300i but never faced the dificuilty i am facing now. I use Excel now called quick office spread sheet in E90. Niether i can highlight all by presing Ctrl A, nor can i sort my cells, nor i can highlight few cells to change colour by pressing Shift and the cells and so on. I have tried to view from help centre and manual but the manual says functions do work but mine doesnt. Plz assist.

Internal keyboard might touch the inner screen, leaving "marks" on the screen. Mostly finger grease is transferred but potentially will scratch phone. There are reports of a slightly newer model with better spacing.
The bottom corner "protectors" are not the same height, making the phone a bit wobbly when used on a flat surface

what's the big deal about the buttons touching the internal screen??? Buy a freakin screen protector and you're set.. And its not like it's scratching the screen.. it's just leaving marks like fingerprints would..
