Hey Alan, one more thing about the E90..... The sound "explodes" (ringtone) before it rings, the speaker too needs to be corrected at some point of time. They (Nokia) call it " Stereo Speakers" It's not even mono.... Sorry Nokia this is dissapointing

        Reply to Alan....

Hey bro ur rite it really is creaking (the back case in E90) also I feel the camera button is funny it needs to be pressed to the right before it can focus & click, if you have to take an instant photo not possible with E90, you have to indeed wait for the application (camera) to start in the first place & then focus on the camera button rather than the picture in order to capture a photo, otherwise all else is fine. The creaking sound on the back case (battery case) is something Nokia should do about. Are you reading this Nokia.... It should fit nice, tight & snuggly. Cheers Alan. Join the gang. P.S. The new software is V 07.24.03 dt 12-06-2007 RA-6 Nokia E90 27 is what you should get when you type in *#0000#. N-joy ppls. The phone actually rocks.

            thanks Eigger

i already bought P990i 2 weeks ago and happy with it. i was supposed to buy E90 but its priced like a high end desktop PC.

but ill wait for the E90 price to drop a bit and get one after.
i do remember Nseries phones when they where first introduced like N70. it was priced at around 40k+ as well.

As said by my friend/seller in Greenhills, YES, it has 1-year Nokia warranty... But don't expect it to be made in Finland.....

Has anyone tried to sync E90 with Microsoft Outlook? Any issues with fields in contacts, tasks, calendar? Thanks.

I have only compared HSDPA to a DSL connection and I'm saying that HSDPA is a DSL connection. HSDPA stands for High Speed Downlink Packet Access which allows UMTS (3G) network to have higher data transfer speeds and capacity. FYI.

Bottomline for me, I would still choose E90 over any other high-end phone compared to N95, O2, Dopod, or P1. I only need a little more budget just a buy and have this phone for me. I can buy N95 now since their selling it at Greenhills at 29,000 pesos but needs a little more since the price of E90 plays between 40,000-41,000 pesos.

I have several phones already and this is one of the best. It has everything I need for a smartphone, especially its multimedia capability, the I think the best in the market as of now. Very much highly recommended!!! an "A" for E90.

DSL actually stands for Digital Subscriber Line.

                          Thanks

Will this phone be able to synchronize itself completely. i.e. copy entire phone book/calender, from my 9300 like the other communicators are able to do??

                                Nokia PH

even if there's a lot of person accessing the same DSL connection, the speed will still be the same... thats why its called DSL.... DEDICATED Subscriber Line...
you're talking about cable connection where in if there's a lot of users connected, you wont get the speed you were told.

but i agree with you on the part where you said not all people actually use all the features of the expensive phone they buy.
i find it irritating too when i heard someone in the mall who owns N95 and she goes like "oh really? this phone can do that? oh really, this phone is capable of this one... blah blah blah"... i mean why the hell did she purchase it if she doesnt even know what her phone is capable of...
im assuming she just use text, call, and MP3.
because i even heard her said that she doesnt know it can go to the internet....
...they're just after the social status that their phone can project in the public...
on my end, i buy phones like those that are jam packed with features even if its expensive... but i use all the features and even install additional software to maximize the phone... so at least im using all the worth i paid for it and i really need those features... or else i wont buy the phone even if i have the money.

                                    Hi all...
I got 2 E90s and both had speaker problems... when you make a call te speaker explodes before it rings and when it rings it rings funny...

                                    Anyone facing the same problem?

                                    Is it hard or software?

                                    Thanks...

I do believe that E90 is only for serious users who wants the most out of their phone (more RAM, more battery life, bigger screen, more durable, built quality is better) compared to N95 which is more of a fashion statement who want to flaunt their phone to their friends (no offense to other N95 users) which I see here in the Philippines. Still, some of the buyers here only use their N95 for voice and text only, some games and mp3 (I know this, coz three of friends have N95) but doesn't know what is the significance of HSDPA and having a GPS on their phone. Technically speaking, do you honestly believe that you can fully utilize the HSDPA of your network running??? Be realistic my friends, HSDPA is similar to a DSL connection that even though you have subscribed for a 1MBPS speed, though 5 persons are accessing the same DSL connection, you cannot have a 1MBPS throughput on your side..... Just a word of thought....

sap, I don't have that problem with my e90. if i type in a letter for contact search, the only names that will show are the names containing that letter in the beginning of the first or last name.. for instance if i search for dave and press "d", the name dave will appear along with james doolittle, david jones, mike davidson,,etc... i haven't experienced your problem. what's your software edition?
