      What I liked:

      * powerful ARM11-based TI OMAP2420 processor running at 330 MHz
      * 128 MB of operating memory (RAM), about 80 MB available, providing unlimited multitasking
      * HSDPA 3.6 Mbps, UMTS, EDGE
      * built-in GPS receiver
      * fantastic 800x352 pixels internal screen
      * fully functional 240x320 external display
      * superb keyboard
      * quadband 850/900/1800/1900 GSM, 2100 WCDMA
      * Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g 54 Mbps
      * Bluetooth 2.0
      * A2DP profile for stereo audio over Bluetooth
      * USB 2.0 Full speed via USB Mini-B connector
      * 3.2 MPix camera with autofocus
      * TV-quality video recording @ VGA resolution and 25 frames per second
      * great build quality, elegant design, good size and weight
      * compatibility with existing S60 3rd Edition software.

      What I didn't like:

      * no fax support!
      * some functions missing or too simplified compared to previous Communicator models (scheduled SMS sending, Contacts search, Calendar, office suite, timed profiles)
      * Nokia please do something with the camera shutter release button so that it is more stable.

          who cares abt the touch screen! all i hear is pple yapping abt it. who needs a touch screen with this design... Nokia has now the perfect communicator that all communicator users want and dreamt of... the only thing it lacks is TV out only and thats also no big deal... and other than that the phone is not gr8 but excellent and outstanding... thumbs up NOKIA... Waiting 4 the E90 to be in the market...

            Perfect phone. It's a full equip phone.
            I think that the design of IPHONE or HTC P4350 with slide-out keyboard is better than E90, because in a smoller size its screen is bigger.

              Tony: we won't know what E90 is capable of, remember that it has S60 3.2 platform and is using the latest symbian 9.2 OS.. nokia wont make any such phone like this if they know S80 is more powerful business solution platform that this. anyways, i'm using my friend's N70 3G line to connect and it's simply amazing!

                    Great phone. however, reading about it on various sites, it has big fouls for business use. Lack of touchscreen (slows down the use and internet navigation), but mainly the change of operating system, resulting in less options for office applications (word, excel, powerpoint). I had a 9500 and a E61, and i can tell you that office application allowed more options on a S80 operating system , than on a S60. Other than that, perfect for everything.

                        the phone has everything a professional user needs. better leave the laptop away to your home or sell it and buy a personal computer anyway for home use and your N93i to the trash. this phone is the killer of all communicators and pocket computers. now nokia has got their best-spec smartphone ever in history. but needs to have intel processor and more ram for further performance.=D

                          i think which ever side of the fence youre sitting we can all agree that this is a stunning fone, the spec is pretty good for a phone in this catagory, the omission of a touch screen will be a dissapointment for a few people who have other manufactured units but for all those nokia fans this wont be missed.
                          Personally i was hoping for some thing that would kick my tytns arse but dont see that with this fone, shame as im always looking for the next fone to have it all.
                          Another concern i have about the Nokia is the symbian software, since the N seris was launched all i have heard is people ball aching about how crap it is,which i am obliged to agree with.
                          Anyone who has seen the concept videos Nokia released earlier this year will know theyre heading in the right direction,but im still waiting for a double touch screen fone, some thing which is pocketable, has a beter battery life and that can cook my breakfast (lol).
                          2007 will be the year either Nokia wake up or loose the No1 spot, good luck and get some touch screen action going on,its so much easier to drag n drop, not to mention changing the UI to some thing more visually exciting, anyway ive ranted enough,peace

                            Is it provided with the option of possibility to use big font sizes, because this is v. important for people suffering from weak eyes. If not can somebody tell me which of which have it in the new models. I know that 6233 and 6300 has this option.

                                    in what world is the ericsson the winner the only phones they have are the m600i and the p990i 1 of which has no camera and the other is the most shocking phone they have ever design this phone is perfect and touch screen only slow things down as the never actually do what ou want.

                                    this phone is perfect and the addition of a camera to the commicator range is ace.

                                      This is a very very good phone, but the absence of touchscreen lets sony ericsson be the leader. If nokia would add a touchscreen to a future model, it will win this fight with SE.
