Yes.....this phone has skin issue! I just bought the phone in about 3 mths and the paints started to come off. First, the transparent coating leave and followed by the paint.

Can someone plz advise on the paint peel-off problem??
I feel so awkward to show my phone around. Worse still, its pretty huge to be kept hidden in the pockets. A new panel works out to around Rs.6000 INR :((

did you know this phone can read text messages, when you get a new message, dont read it, open up to the full screen and hold on to one of the blue buttons on the left of the screen and it will start reading the message, i just fell in love with this phone even more

This is quite possibly the best phone ihave ever had, and i have had a few. Its fas and has all the gadgets you need all packeged together with the nokia brand make it a truly reliable phone for both business and pleasure. I would recomend this to any serious phone users.

I purchased one with great desire but after 3 months the paint started peeling off due to painting defect. I approached Nokia but they refused to entertain saying external promblems are not covered under warranty. I now feel shy to show my E-90 to anyone even afer I spen a fortune on acquiring one. I will be too happy to sell it at half the cost if someone is willing to accept a phone with paints peeled off all around.

I think Finland models have a problem with the casing(the "Paint" is peeling away) and the microphone...

It is a great mobile i ever seen.
it is great comunicator for me but any body can tell me how i install the internett radio application which is in OVI.

i just got the phone and it is performing well and i dont regret buying it at all. I just upgraded my OS from RA300. to RA400 and this improves the performance of my fone. It is splendid and wonderful. I think the only problem is about the phone casing, it peels,not to worry u can peel the whole area that is peeling of, it makes the fone seems as if that the way it was made. it save you the cost of buying a new case. Lovely fone

Slow ! Limited functions and Nokia doesn't even bother to help to upgrade software - function wise. Too many applications doesn't work on this particular E series. Yet the work fine on other E Series.
GPS MAP too slow.
I have used it and now switched back to SE990i.
I hate it !!
