I am enjoying my Nokia G20 upgrade to Android 12. Fantastic experience. Now I'm planning on getting this phone for my sibling. Excellent experience here in Nigeria.

I ordered it from my local retailer with the SIM card I later got from the carrier - thus it is not considered a carrier phone, if I am not mistaken.
The reason I spoke of my carrier (mt:s, subsidiary of Telekom Serbia) is to underline exactly that - they do not customize or affect anything on their end regarding updates and phone software itself (at least from what they stated).
This was the carrier of my choice for over a decade. On my old Nokia 2.3, I had no problems with software at all, everything went on smoothly.
When I contacted support for the G20, they just restated the conditions of getting OTA updates on their help page, even if I said I already followed all the steps. After I provided screenshots they eventually told me to switch my network or my carrier, and while I didn't try the latter yet, the network switch was without results.

No android 12 in Romania, eastern Europe. Security update is march 2022. Not nice HMD, not nice. Nokia was, once, almost the best... Now, no comment!

Dual apps/Clone Apps is not available in Android 12 (stock). It will be more good, if its available.

Hello, I am from Southeast Europe.
Almost four weeks since getting this phone - no updates at all, not even security patches or google system updates. On my previous Nokia I would normally get notified on time whenever they were released, which is not the case with this phone in particular.
While the Android 12 update is most likely postponed due to local circumstances in my region, one would at least expect proper security updates, but unfortunately, my phone is still stuck on October patch and even older February google play system patch - both released 2021.
Local carrier claims not to have affected the release of either update (no customizations on their end).

Most of new Samsung mobiles already got Android 12 update but still we didn't. Its really disappointed....

G20 here in Australia and Android 12 upgraded. Not much changed as I updated except some annoying changes in settings. Sometimes reset unexpectedly and laggs.
