They should make g series uses mediatek, the X10 and 20 use SD 695 and the x30 use 778G or something like that.
By the way what is your main mobile phone carol?

Carol, 17 Apr 2023Actually the G22 is also a step in the right direction wel... moreI totally get you, at least if the made right chipsets for certain phones it'll be better if you know what I mean, the x10 and x20 ought to have the 695 of the x30.
While the x30 and g60 ought to have something like the 778G or something like that,
The g10,20,21 and stuff maybe like mediatek g70, g88, g90, p60 and stuff
The lack of powerful processors is their biggest mistake in my opinion.
How about you carol? What mobile do you use?

Nokia fan, 16 Apr 2023I feel Nokia hasn't gotten the formula on good phones ... moreActually the G22 is also a step in the right direction well just a step but not there yet. They could easily use sd 480 in it, 5g networks are nothing powerfull right now,so they could skip the 5G implementation and release it with android 13. That would have made a whole lot of difference. Sadly sometimes i feel that they really make the same mistakes NOKIA did in some departments and one of those being stubborn and failing to understand the market, well halfway atleast. X30 and g60 are great phones but also on them phones they skipped some small, that do not interest me, but for some people, important stuffs. Like x30 lack of 3.5 jack and sd card, and wireless charging. Or G60 lack of Ip67. Also some complain that the Speakers on them are sounding tiny, i mean for me the sound of a speaker in a smartphone is nothing groundbraking and i really do not listen to music on a phone, would annoy me very fast, but well, some do listen and apparently care more then me... Of course, this devices were not developed with "child play games" in mind, but what's wrong with attracting other types of users too? If you know what i mean.

Minu, 16 Apr 2023Nokia G50 at $150 beats bothI feel Nokia hasn't gotten the formula on good phones yet, I'm only proud of the x30 and g60 asides that I try not to talk about how great nokia is

Minu, 16 Apr 2023Nokia G50 at $150 beats bothThe nokia g50 is outeof stock in my country and besides, if we were to judge with the phones nokia is making now, we'll all be disappointed, with the price of the g22 we could get and old midrange not flagship that'll outshine this easily.
And don't even get me started with the CPU. The only nokia phones I'm proud to debate about is the x30 and g60 asides that the remaining are just not there yet.
Nokia is missing the formula if I may say and until they get that, I'm not proud of them anymore
And my lecturer bought a g10 and had issues within a year of touch responsiveness, overheating and restarting, I'm using a 4.2 and g21 currently But I'm now rethinking why I bought the g21

Minu, 16 Apr 2023If you're familiar with this strategy, remember the fa... moreI'm not lost in the model strategy as such (I gave up a long time to try to understand these things) but more in the repairability thing. Why not make a smartphone with removable back and battery like it was 10-15 years ago? Back then replacing these thing was just a second nature and if you where brave enough going deeper into the device was also easy if you had the required screwdrivers and tweezers. Agreed, obtaining the spare parts was not ease for normal people but attempting to self repay was certainly more ease than now, even with this Nokia. The brand Fairfone is the only one by my my knowledge that offers oldschool reparability.

Imbukwa, 16 Apr 2023Nokia are only good at making feature phones. Partly disagreed.
I'm using a Nokia 8, and I enjoy using it to the fullest. Very practical and a great conversation starter.
The only thing I'm disappointed with post-2021 Nokia Android phones is the looks, because they look too generic imho

Mr Google, 31 Mar 2023Maybe some people are paid to tarnish Nokia. Some never bou... moreEven if some shares their bitter experiences after buying and using this device, some aren't ready to accept that. No one can tarnish any brand by giving negative feedbacks. If the product is really good, it will automatically sell itself. It is extremely difficult to be an opinion leader for any product because, nowadays, no one is ready to believe what others say (Good or Bad). The problem with this device is its UniSoc processor and RAM. It can handle only Android Go edition efficiently and effectively. Android 12 warrants a good processor and more memory (RAM) than Android 11. To say it in layman's terms, Android 12 is heavier than previous Android versions. Moreover, Google clearly stated the minimum hardware requirements, required by any mobile device for Android 12. Minimum 6 GB RAM is required for Android 12. But, manufacturers tweak Android OS accordingly to match their hardware using virtual RAM. The same understanding goes well for display resolution. A proper full implementation of Android 12 OS requires the minimum hardware requirements stated by Google without which every mobile will experience hiccups. Nothing is lost, if you buy this device. It will work accordingly with the employed hardware. The thing is that you can't expect its hardware to handle plenty of apps in the way it has to be. To say it again, there is nothing wrong to experience Nokia G22. Every experience is a lesson and every lesson has its own cost. Just pay to experience what it is.

Mustang lover, 29 Mar 2023"You get what you pay for" and at £189 that'... moreI can imagine that android 12 needs more time with the given CPU to stabilize it'self in comparison to lets say, nokia x30. Also the fenomenon you describe, is more like a virus, what have you installed? i might ask. Anyhow, have you tried to format the device again, giving the situation? Or you just complained? To tell you the truth, with people that do not listen and sound like you sound here, i would also be very desinteressiert to help, and would also probably advise them to send it back. I mean, better that, then wasting precious time. No offence intended.
Last, you compare a 169£ with a 360£ device, i mean, seriously? Why not compare it with a 1500£ one and tell them the difference? By now you should have realised why they were desinterested, well, that is if you actually went through all of this, or just exagerated.

Mustang lover, 29 Mar 2023"You get what you pay for" and at £189 that'... moreNo your not the only one I have sent a couple back had charging issues in an early one that was when HMD first started the charging port broke twice as a consequence was sent back for repair twice, then I thought I would give the G50 a try that was problematic and ended up just being put out for recycling in the end as I was just banging my head against a brick wall with the customer service, and saw a C21 Plus on sale cheap so thought I'd give them another chance and guess what that has it's problems as well and has been back for repair due to software problems, so I have finished with HMD now absolute cheap junk.
