Why not make a smartphone with removable back and battery like it was 10-15 years ago? Back then replacing these thing was just a second nature and if you where brave enough going deeper into the device was also easy if you had the required screwdrivers and tweezers. Agreed, obtaining the spare parts was not ease for normal people but attempting to self repay was certainly more ease than now, even with this Nokia. The brand Fairfone is the only one by my my knowledge that offers oldschool reparability.

Imbukwa, 16 Apr 2023Nokia are only good at making feature phones. Partly disagreed.
I'm using a Nokia 8, and I enjoy using it to the fullest. Very practical and a great conversation starter.

The only thing I'm disappointed with post-2021 Nokia Android phones is the looks, because they look too generic imho

Mr Google, 31 Mar 2023Maybe some people are paid to tarnish Nokia. Some never bou... moreEven if some shares their bitter experiences after buying and using this device, some aren't ready to accept that. No one can tarnish any brand by giving negative feedbacks. If the product is really good, it will automatically sell itself. It is extremely difficult to be an opinion leader for any product because, nowadays, no one is ready to believe what others say (Good or Bad). The problem with this device is its UniSoc processor and RAM. It can handle only Android Go edition efficiently and effectively. Android 12 warrants a good processor and more memory (RAM) than Android 11. To say it in layman's terms, Android 12 is heavier than previous Android versions. Moreover, Google clearly stated the minimum hardware requirements, required by any mobile device for Android 12. Minimum 6 GB RAM is required for Android 12. But, manufacturers tweak Android OS accordingly to match their hardware using virtual RAM. The same understanding goes well for display resolution. A proper full implementation of Android 12 OS requires the minimum hardware requirements stated by Google without which every mobile will experience hiccups. Nothing is lost, if you buy this device. It will work accordingly with the employed hardware. The thing is that you can't expect its hardware to handle plenty of apps in the way it has to be. To say it again, there is nothing wrong to experience Nokia G22. Every experience is a lesson and every lesson has its own cost. Just pay to experience what it is.

Mustang lover, 29 Mar 2023"You get what you pay for" and at £189 that'... moreI can imagine that android 12 needs more time with the given CPU to stabilize it'self in comparison to lets say, nokia x30. Also the fenomenon you describe, is more like a virus, what have you installed? i might ask. Anyhow, have you tried to format the device again, giving the situation? Or you just complained? To tell you the truth, with people that do not listen and sound like you sound here, i would also be very desinteressiert to help, and would also probably advise them to send it back. I mean, better that, then wasting precious time. No offence intended.
Last, you compare a 169£ with a 360£ device, i mean, seriously? Why not compare it with a 1500£ one and tell them the difference? By now you should have realised why they were desinterested, well, that is if you actually went through all of this, or just exagerated.

Mustang lover, 29 Mar 2023"You get what you pay for" and at £189 that'... moreNo your not the only one I have sent a couple back had charging issues in an early one that was when HMD first started the charging port broke twice as a consequence was sent back for repair twice, then I thought I would give the G50 a try that was problematic and ended up just being put out for recycling in the end as I was just banging my head against a brick wall with the customer service, and saw a C21 Plus on sale cheap so thought I'd give them another chance and guess what that has it's problems as well and has been back for repair due to software problems, so I have finished with HMD now absolute cheap junk.

Mustang lover, 29 Mar 2023"You get what you pay for" and at £189 that'... moreAn error - the handset cost me £169

"You get what you pay for" and at £189 that's nothing at all in todays phone world - I went for this phone as i simply wish not to spend a grand on a phone. Despite what power they posses in todays world. However i was bitterly disappointed.
There was some malfunction with the software from the moment go. I even had thoughts as to the phone being second hand. Battery draining 40% over night. Stuck it on ultra power saving mode over night and still dropped 10%.In battery usage settings, the WIFI showing it has been in use for 180 odd days and is using 800% battery despite me only owning the phone for a matter of hours...What this means, i have no idea. Sending a text is painfully slow and sometimes you have to retry due to it failing. On a call and suddenly high pitch beeping will occur every few seconds. "beep beep beep beep" "beep beep beep beep". The general speed of the phone was laggy. It felt as fast as a 2 year old Iphone that was due for an upgrade despite being fresh out of the box. Spoke to a Nokia rep on chat and they seemed disinterested in the fact that my new phone is not fit for purpose and seemed more concerned with ending the chat. They hastily reminded me i can return the phone within 30 days - something tells me this isn't a rare occurrence. I wanted to give Nokia a chance, being that it was the powerhouse in mobile phone technology during my teenage years. I wanted it to work to end the monopoly of Iphone and Samsung but it failed on a monumental level. I have since sent the phone back and purchased a Desire 22 pro from HTC. Already seeing vast improvements in the speed and other areas. HTC Battery did not drop a single percent overnight and this was not in battery saver mode. At £329 i feel i have gotten something good for the price point but i dont feel i have broken the bank just to say i have the latest model of Iphone or Samsung. If you have more money that £200 to spend on a phone then i would avoid the Nokia. I hope it was just a faulty phone but i didnt wan to waste the time and stress of swapping it for a new one, running the risk of it failing for a second time. Fool me once shame on you....

For that you need at least 300 euro phones, that would be the bare least.

I am pretty sure that there is a need of thinking change in you. You want to go further but without a positive attitude, that negativity won't be changing anything any time soon believe me. You need to force yourself to think more positive and know what you want. Think and believe that you will get it. If you want something and think that you will never be able to get it, well you won't. There is a very good saying i always try to follow: If you change yourself, you change the world.
