AnonD-1096870, 28 Jun 2023Have you thought about upgrading to the 2022 Alcatel 1b?I would love to, but the thing is, it's pretty hard to find a Nokia or Alcatel device in my neighborhood nowadays. The market here is flooded with "mi, me, mi" devices. I may have to travel to Dubai if I want to purchase a recent Nokia device. And maybe I will.

Minu, 24 Jun 2023Nokia seems to be a disappointing company on the surface, a... moreActually NOKIA was always leading and the rest followed, even today the smartphones are still "upgrading" to nokia features of the past. hmd does not dare, and probably does not have the capacity to do so, if they come back to europe, well, they will need to start innovating fast, otherwise the prices will make even less sense for the "i want cheap and don't care about anything, unless it's me and for me" mass.

Definitely a more powerful phone than the G22, but why not Snapdragon 4 Gen 1? Could it be because the chipset is made by Samsung foundry?

Xenotyro, 27 Jun 2023This is what the G22 should have been, it is pretty much id... moreI believe user-repairable G22 needs its own separate Series, like say, R Series. Nokia R22 instead of G22. Otherwise, it gets lost inside G Series lineup, most people just don't realize G22 is a user-repairable phone. That is, if Nokia / HMD plans to continue releasing such phones. Personally, I think they need to continue, but advertize and promote the concept more widely. Oh, and make spare parts for such phones readily available.
