The thing that surprises me the most is how this phone has a stainless steel frame with a Gorilla Glass back and costs less than $200 while the X10 and X20 have a plastic outer frame while costing more than this phone.

CAVBR, 23 Nov 2022The launch of the Nokia G50 in Brazil was a total disaster.... moreSad to see that it costs a massive amount in Brazil.
I got to know that the G50 is sold at $150 for the 4GB/128GB configuration in the US and I think it's worth every penny.

would be great if it had wireless charging but overall, this phone is very good

The launch of the Nokia G50 in Brazil was a total disaster.
It was released for R$ 2799 (US$ 500), and apparently few units were made available.
Currently the Nokia G50 is unavailable, and on the Nokia website this device is not even listed, which is not a good sign.
Its price hasn't dropped much since launch. The lowest price was R$ 1699 (US$ 300), and it was still a bad price.
Even in Nokia groups or forums, it's hard to find a Brazilian who bought a Nokia G50.

Minu, 08 Nov 2022Samsung used a low end Unisoc for the J3, not even satisfac... moreI don't think it was even a unisoc processor

            Spreadtrum SC9830 gsmarena says
            There's where out before unisoc
And possibly along worst processors out there ever

The Samsung j3 does at least have more than 1gb of ram Android 5 sure is light os

The Alcatel pixi 3 we have also it's only got a mtk6572
Not even a mtk6580 although it's a lot slower than the Nokia c01 plus at least the browser on the Alcatel don't close it's self like the Nokia does

The Alcatel pixi 3 is running Android 4 that will run on nearly anything with only 512mb ram

What it really goes too show is just how bad Android go really is
It also does say why 1gb ram is completely obsolete

I think it's wrong of Google too drop support for old versions of Android like Android 4 & 5 and even app developers just as bad for not supporting it
and honestly I think Androidgo is complete garbage

Just by looking at old smartphone says the ram amount and bandwidth ages faster than the processor performance and I can't call any of there phones useable in 2022

SD215 is manageable if you use a phone with a good amount of RAM with android go like the Nokia 1.4.
Also the J3 was the last globally available in-house designed Samsung phone

Samsung seems too have made so many versions of this smartphone

Last time I checked I think Samsung j3 has
Snapdragon 215 a potato processor with 2gb ram in are one 16gb or 32gb storage??

The storage is aways over full so It might of been able to upgrade if it was not full of apps it might of been possible too upgrade I can't say either way for sure

The best part of that phone is having the popping colors unlock effect because it was only reserved for flagships and upper midrangers the year prior.
Also let's report to GSMArena that it only had lollipop and not newer Android versions

I had a Galaxy J3 2016 earlier which was a decent phone, yet had terrible specs. First it had earpiece issues right after the 1st year of use, random reboots when connecting to wi-fi and severe call quality drops even when the signal strength is adequate. Also the battery started ballooning (at least it's removable) and the display got severe image retention (which is forgivable considering that it has an AMOLED display), 😥 but at least it's durable. 😁 The service centers asked me to replace the motherboard, which is twice the price I paid for the phone itself, and the display costs upto 3-4 times of the phone's retail price. Not to mention, the bloatware leaves only 700MB to the user, which gets filled up very easily.
It ended up becoming a tablet for me while I used my Nokia C1-01 for communication purposes until both of them got replaced with my current Nokia 8.

It gives me now over 14 hours of SoT. Never had a phone that has such a high SoT.

Minu, 21 Sep 2022Samsung is nothing like it used to be. Mark my words.Several years ago I had a top of the line Samsung. It spent more time in the shop than my using it. After three new main boards, I bounced it off the wall and threw it in the trash. That ended my love affair with Samsung.

I must be very lucky to have purchased a phone that works perfect for me. It has no lag at all and everything works as it is supposed to.. The screen looks very good to me and the front camera "V" doesn't bother me at all. Admittedly I am a light user and my battery lasts me a full week. My previous phone was a thousand dollar iPhone. I hated that phone from the first day I bought it and hated it even more all the time I used it. I had to charge the battery EVERY day. I bought the iPhone because my wife is an Apple lemming and convinced me to buy an iPhone. I'm VERY happy to be back to Android.

I purchased this phone to replace my crippled Honor 8X Max, so far it's a good phone. Fast enough to do the things I need it to do. It's a rather large phone, even compared to my S22 Ultra since this phone is bigger. However compared to the Honor 8X Max it gets dwarfed. The 20:9 screen is nice and the lower resolution make it to be able to give you a very long SoT. I already got some updates and it's now on the September security patch.

I think it's pretty stupid they don't offer 3 major android updates. especially when they release a phone with a previous android version (in this case 11) 9 days after android 12 comes out? come on they could've developed with the early versions and gotten android 12 out the gate so you'd get 13 and 13, not 12 and 13.
I'd skip nokia (HMD global) just for this fact, and their major software issues on previous phones that never really got solved :(

I have the 128/6GB variant. I don't think there's anything I can complain about save for the notorious camera bug that makes the camera freeze when capturing portrait shots, used it for close to 4 months now running Android 12 September patch.
