Mecha, 11 Feb 2023One GRRRRREAT THING WITH NOKIA: THEY DO NOT SPY YOUR DOINGS... moreYes Xiaomi, Honor, Realme, Oppo etc etc are littered with system apps that continually require network access.

But in the same breathe, Nokia is too, to a certain degree. Though not to the magnitude of the others.

The only way I've really found to circumvent these data leaks is through using a custom rom. That's where the google pixel line and Xiaomi tend to appeal the most.

But as much as I find Xiaomi innovative in terms of display tech and customizations, I wouldn't personally use one as a daily driver.

Motorola also allow the unlocking of bootloaders. Nokia should too, on their newer devices. That would make them really appealing.

Imagine being able to install grapheneOS or CalyxOS on a G60. That would be awesome

One GRRRRREAT THING WITH NOKIA: THEY DO NOT SPY YOUR DOINGS!!! Xians-omi I toke SIM away and FE. photos are not allowed - everything You do goes through Chinese servers and to them. I have also Huawei and taking SIM away: everything works perfect, next connection to data network and enormous packet going out. Nokia: nothing, just use it like YOU want! No espionage in here! Still miss Nokia/Windows security ;-D

It doesn't feel too big or too small. Just the right size.

Wish it didn't have the water drop notch though - but that does seem to be a reemerging trend in 2022 with a lot of other manufacturers too.

Tom209, 02 Feb 2023Well considering there has been known and widely publicized... moreI do not owe this device, but i used one for testing and it was better build then most of the devices in the price range. It felt sturdy, and well done hard plastic that you know it will hold it's fair while being droped like there is no tomorrow. .

Aadrian, 02 Feb 2023It's based on my experience with the latest Moto phones. Well considering there has been known and widely publicized issues with malfunctioning charging ports on HMD devices - I can't say I agree with the build quality statement.

Nevertheless - I can't draw a conclusion as the G73 has yet to be released - but from owning a G60, I'm sure not what all this build quality hype stems from, as it's a fairly basic standard no frills plastic based device (just like many others on the market). 🤷‍♂️

Carol, 01 Feb 2023Strange, because how do you know is better, while not owning it?Same way I know a BMW is better than a Ford Fiesta - even without owning one.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that a handset with a better display, larger battery, better speakers, better cpu, better gpu - better more stable ui - is going to be a better overall user experience.

Robiul Bangladesh, 28 Jan 2023This one or moto g73?G73 is better in every way.

Better processor/gpu. Higher ram/storage. Stereo speakers, faster charging and larger battery capacity. Better bluebooth, faster network speeds and faster storage (read/write).

It'll also be priced similar - & you'll get a tpu case and charger as standard in the box.

Robiul Bangladesh, 28 Jan 2023This one or moto g73?Both phones are very comparable, they cost about the same, have about the same specs and features like camera and display. One major difference is the software support. On the Moto you may ask yourself if you ever, and if so, when, you'll get android 14, since it comes with 13 out of the box. With the Nokia you know you will get android 13 and 14 and regular security updates. Also the build quality of the Nokia is better, so I'd go for the Nokia G60. Best is to go to the store and try them both if possible.

                                  This one or moto g73?

                                      Greetings
just wondering after this phone got launched last year, when it's coming to East Africa particularly Uganda. Nokia stores I check out are also not sure. After checking reviews and comments I've been waiting patiently but the best phone I see available in our stores is the X20 which I believe is inferior to the G60 in several specs and value for money.
