This device here comes with 4 or 6 GB RAM. Nokia x30 comes with 6 or 8GB RAM. Even x10, x20 and xr20 have 6 gb RAM and 8GB version for the last two of them. So say what?

You can talk for years about how goo... moreyour Nokia phone software is not optimized according to hardware spec. bcz google optimized the android os according to their own CPU (Google Tensor). that same android os used by the Nokia for their phones. you can easly note that Nokia phones os are then and there get stuck. nokia doesn't have their own android os (like Samsung one ui or vivo color os). Nokia phones noting they have but their phone prices are high.

I've checked their website - in my country, this only comes with 4GB ram, no 6GB model is available.
Is 4GB ram enough in 2022/2023? And for the apparent "future" updates, heading into 2024/2025?
The average carrier contract in my country is 24 months.

Nokia phones are made to last longer than your average Chinese phone. I pre ordered a Nokia X30. The best in its class.

The Alcatel company is now owned by Nokia and the Alcatel brand was licensed to TCL by Alcatel before acquired by Nokia. The license of Alcatel for TCL will be expired soon, that's why you can see TCL is making more phones under its own brand but not Alcatel anymore, because there is a direct conflict of interest nowadays since Nokia is selling phones again.

Not Without a battery charge that is
Battery Health will probably terrible after about 3 years and be even worse by 5 year mark
Slower changing will help keep the battery healthy for longer and keeping battery between 10%-90% charge
The hardware specs will be painfully obvious obsolete in 5 years age is not kind too smartphones
It's possible new android versions will be extremely heavy and built for newest hardware actifcial obsoletesecnce is a powerful force and new android versions 13/14/15/16 etc will only be optimised for new hardware and unoptimised
Am definitely all for the idea of future proofing and getting your money worth and ego friendliness
I wish you the best of luck you're going need it
Future proofing a smartphone I aim for extreme flagship performance as it's what ages the Worsed
And repairable battery charge will be needed
Just look at midrange & flagship smartphone from 5 years ago too have a idea of how they age
Too try too get most realistic expectations of what you need based on modern standards back then if you was too buy back then that you can still use today

Hmd global brought the Nokia brand but got Alcatel brand as part of the bundle
Nokia owns Alcatel as they brought the license agreement with TCL

I remember the difficultys in the bad old days when I trying too unstall it
Ever program complain about it or not like it or just it give untrustworthy warning
As for oneul I heard it's really heavy os as you have all of Samsung and unfortunately Microsoft apps and heavy os skin on too of a android
Possible the Samsung app stores maybe a plus at least for fortune gamers
