It's funny to see Android still struggles with it despite now having a huge amount of RAM. Microsoft apps no longer work on Windows Phone 8.1, so you want to upgrade it to Windows 10 Mobile v1607 manually. As for WhatsApp, don't bother as it has been dropped after Microsoft announced the EOL of Windows Phone. However, you can still use Telegram app in it despite not being the latest version.

I left Android for Windows Phone for four years since July 2016, and it's still the best decision I made. Even after the years, it's still impressive to see how crazily optimized the whole mobile OS is, especially on low-end budget phones. Not even Android Go can be on par with it. Frankly, the only reason I was forced to go back to Android was because of WhatsApp.

One of the world's best phone in history got ruined by the world's most disliked operating system.
Symbian Belle was 100 times better than the "Windows Phone 8.1/10" crap. But we don't know what we lost until we lose it.

It's more than a phone, it's a state of mind, nostalgia. I bought it in 2024 for €50. Unfortunately, the camera was broken, it didn't focus, it couldn't be heard in the speaker, and the battery was discharging quickly and the case was very worn. I chose don't give up on it, it's the 64gb version. Having some vouchers from a shop in China, I ordered the parts and started to repair and clean the motherboard... it seems that it was affected by moisture, but nothing serious. Now the phone is 100% functional. I use it for camera, mp3, and calls and rarely text or internet. I am more than happy and especially free from all the nonsense of social applications.Nokia4ever

Still have it, together with N8 and Nokia 9 pv, all great cameras but this one is at another level, such natural colors in comparison with the AI garbage this days.... They all started from 808 PV and endet up to AI crapp...this tech might be old, but better, i'd love to see this camera being even more improved and rereleased. Or at least the tech behind it

Yeah great phone, I have one. It was amazing, not much support now but the photos it makes........ still incredibly amazing.
I used it recently, making some photos of flowers, what a good quality. This phone is a 10/10 simply said.
