You are wrong. It is the memory manufacturer that took 4 years. Symbian is always ahead of it's time. For example the N-gage which was released during the era of 256mb-512mb memory already supported 2GB which is nonexistant at that time. Another recent example is the 808 which support the micro sdxc with exfat format(allows file of more than 2GB size). Tell me if any of the android/WP flagship support this format? You said that symbian does not support multicore cpu. I really lol at that. Do you know N96, N95, N82, N93, N73, N80, N91 etc all these had dual cores? Nokia had long used multicore cpu they just did not market it as a feature. The only thing I agree with you is on the multitouch which Nokia is slow to adapt and the screen resolution. Other than that Symbian (although dead) is always AHEAD of its time. It offers true multitasking and task manager since 7650. iOS and WP8 are still babysteps in multitasking. Symbian is only dead because Elop kills it. Had Nokia stayed and continue developing symbian it will have a greater chance of toppling android. Not to mention the advanced Meego, with supreme gesture interface(everyone is following now) and supreme multitasking(try 40+ apps background with android) Nokia can surely take the crown but it chose the longer and harder path of WP. Say no to uneducated fanboyism.

            The question is this; is Nokia a phone company or a camera company? 41mp on a phone with 32GB internal memory and no expandable memory? Come off it Nokia! Whenever i need a good shooter, I'll go get myself a SLR. Nokia should stop sacrificing functional apps for camera. Tell me, where are we gonna store photos and videos taken with our 41PM shooter? On our non expandable 32GB internal memory of course1

              WhatsApp for WP devices is updated today. Now its working fine. Everything is stable. I have updated and now no problem on my NL 820. So update the application and enjoy. Changelog is

              Initiate voice calls from within the app
              *.Background API allows you to play music
              *.New smileys
              *.Fixed notifications for users
              *.Users can now see smileys on the double wide tile
              *.Fast resume (If the app is open and you click on the incoming notification it opens as fast as on Android)

              *.On start-up, it now asks if you want to back up your chat history. You can also do this through settings.

                LG G2 is far better than Lumia 1020.

                  Guys, obviously there are a lot of people who are against Nokia. I"ve been using Nokia for 10 years now continously and have seen my dad, bro and wife use other phones like Samsung, BB. Nokia phones are wonders in their Engineering, simply because of the quality of hardware. Yes, sometimes Nokia's software is not as great to support the marvels that Nokia's Hardware Engineers do. Maybe Nokia should take the Apple way and introduce just one or at the most two models of Smartphones, so that the software guys have time to do justice to the hard work and brilliant efforts put in by the hardware developers!
                  And for the many people out there, who crib about Nokia having dated hardware, let me tell you guys, Having a bulky battery, RAM and a whole lot of processing power has no meaning, unless you completely utilize it. Even my PC which is dual core with 2GB RAM utilizes an average of 25% of its resources at normal load and 75% when I'm running some Engineering Analysis. I don't see why a mobile phone would need much more. Further, it all boils down to the efficiency of the software and hardware. If a device guzzles 2000+mAH of battery with normal usage and needs more RAM than my windows 8 PC, I would not categorize it as efficient. I hope people realise these numbers make no meaning and it is the performance/utlization that matters.

                      I have been through different mobile phone,I love exploring many phone imfact i Hvae 39 MOBILE pHONE PASS ON MY HANDS and expriences diffrent kinds and brands...they have some semilar features some with also different structures and sensor.I love photo capturing ..All i can say with this nokia 1020 owwwowww....Great job for Nokia company Best camera ever.

Of course, Nokia later this year will announce a 5-6' Nokia Lumia but that is just due to complainers like you.

                          Just 2000mAH battery: I agree they could add more but you know, there is an accessory available which add 1000 mAH more to the phone and some other cool stuff. It doesn't cost much if you "care"

                          32 GB of internal storage: I don't know the reason behind it. It's definitely a draw back.

                          quad-core CPU?: Get over it, WP doesn't need a quad-core CPU to run smoothly. It's even running better than Androids having octa cores. Quad core will come later this year

                          Bulky: You kidding me? It's thin with this much technology inside. What will you call S4 Zoom?

U might see many 10 year old nokia phones, and they work fine even after a rough use, bt it's practically impossible to find a 5 year old samsung phone that works fine.. we are not forcd fans. bt we are fans by choice since u can't really compare the built quality of a nokia handset with a samsung..

                                    Even if I considered Windows Phone an "upgrade" from symbian (which I don't), my N8 still has the FM transmitter, and microSD card slot. Why would I upgrade to one of these?

                                    I'm not into the whole non-removable battery thing anymore either. Still waiting for Jolla.
