Few days back i have noticed when i turn o... moreme too noticed a black line(seems to be drawn with a marker pen) at upper part of viewfinder at dark room
but not visible in picture or in other use....
Anyway its not a big issue
but battery life is my main concern.
i regret for buying this mobile for poor battery life (1/3rd of my note 2)..
I cant use camera that much,No game at all,only for miserable battery life.
Mobile become too hot with net surfing,minimal gaming.
Please god give punishment to microsoft and Nokia for destroing my hard earn cash.

Dear Friends,
Few days back i have noticed when i turn on my camera at deep dark room left side corner i.e., (Image viewer) i can see few black dots. whether is it default or any other issue. Kindly confirm and revert back to me immediately friends.

ok...1st tell me which is yr software version ?....Do one thing use nokia software tool to reset your phone to any previous version...and then try to update....make sure u do not.use yr back up settings...only take yr msg and contacts

I have recently purchased the lumia 1020, had some issues with the battery persformance, but afther some research and tweaking and making some changes i have a good performance with the battery, i have installed windows 8.1 now.
1) mail: put the mail to check every 15 minutes, this will save a lot of battery
2) dial ##3282 go down in the right corner where are tree points. touch there and will appear a menu select polling and put it on 7 o 9 i have it on 9 and the network on 2g
3) close all the backgroud applications
4) put the brigthess in auto, because when is at night will get dimmer automaticly, because there is no brigthess bar.
5) And the las, if you have windows 8.1 installed and have the shut down issue, testing the only way it will not shut down is having all the apps up to date.
thats all, sorry my bad english.

Hi. I made phone reset and I still have the same problem with the update. After downloading 100% it starts installing. But it stops at 12% saying the update is downloaded but it couldn't be opened. Please any help

After one year disappointed with battery on L1020. Tried hard reset. Nothing helped. Getting only 4-6 hrs backup.

great in every way except as a phone!~ bad voice quality. i sent it back repeated times for 'fixes' they could never fix it and would not give me a different phone. i am switching to Apple and will not be buying NOKIA in future!

yogesh, 15 Mar 2015which is the best phone ever nokia lumia 1020 and sony xperia z1nokia is a much better every smart phones...i m using e63 last 4 year...and when u see my phones its a amazing ...phones keypad is smooth now too...so nokia make a friendly and familiar quality...look like a bike brand hero honda...nokia is a believeable brand...and i m proud to be nokia user.....i will purchase lumia 1020....and lumia is a not a common smart phones....aks

i bought lumia 1020 three months back now iam suffering with display problem is this right? when high end smart mobiles purchases that gives good performances no problems but not it is.

Also, why did the Nokia 925 appear as Model 925 in About? Makes no sense. Do I have the latest model or an older one? Please advise. I appreciate the feedback!

it is just maximum speed. it do go down to 2G when the 3G signal is weak. i need to force it to lock on 3G only

KIngs, 13 Mar 2015how can i lock my lumia 1020 8.1 denim to 3G only?For that you need to go to the settings menu, then look for network & simcard (not sure how it's called in English), select that, then select the simcard settings. From here you can set your max. network speed, 2G/3G/4G etc.
