What I like about this phone is the power is still above 10% after 3 days, much much better than those Samsung Android phones which I use for years and always hated their battery life.Apart from that, the Windows system is quite smooth even though they don't have as many Apps as that of Android, but its enough for me. The camera is not bad and no need to praise the hardware of Nokia phone, quite durable.

misquitas, 19 Aug 2014There might be a bug in the calculator of Windows OS, since... moreThere's no bug in the calculator. The problem is in the assumptions being made as to what you mean when you press the % key. Remember the % sign represents a ratio. What is that ratio relative to?
When the % key is pressed the MS calculator assumes you want to calculate a certain percentage relative to the operand that immediately precedes the last operator in sequence. It then uses that result in the equation as an operand.
So in sc03's case, for the given equation:
10000 * 12% / 12 * 4
the MS calculator assumes that for the second operand, you want to calculate 12% relative to the preceding operand (namely 10,000). The result, 1200, becomes the second operand and is then used in the equation according to the preceding operator, in this case the multiplication symbol. So the actual mathematical equation becomes:
10000 * (12/100 * 10,000) / 12 * 4
This is possibly more mathematically precise in the interpretation of the % symbol in the equation.
Samsung's calculator, and Apple's for that matter, assumes that the percentage ratio is relative to itself, and therefore uses 12/100 as the actual operand.
10000 * (12/100) / 12 * 4
Since 1985, Microsoft's calculator has always made the same assumption - the percentage ratio is relative to the preceding operand. Try it on your Windows desktop calculator, and you'll get the same result as Windows Phone.
Again, it is not a bug. Just a mathematical assumption.
If you are wanting to calculate 12 percent of 10000 as the first part of the equation, the easiest way is to move the decimal point in the percentage quantity two places to the left and enter this as an operand into the calculator accordingly:
10000 * .12 / 12 * 4
Result: 400

I also have some problems with Lumia 13... moreTO be honest, I have not encountered both requirements that you have mentioned below.
1. When I want to attach a document file from my L1320, I simply open the file and then choose the SHARE option.
2. Regarding 10000*12%/12*4, I would normally have tried the following:
a. 10000*12%
b. M+
c. MR /12*4
to get 400.
I have tried my wife's Lumia 625 and it works just the same for the L1320. Hence, if you feel there is an issue with the L1320 on these two points, it would be an issue with the L625 as well. So, it is a OS related matter.

2. While using calculator (a basic feature of a mobile) when i calculate 10000*12%/12*4 it shows 40,00,000 which is incorrect. Even my basic Nokia phone and Samsung tab shows correct answer i.e. 400.
Can you please explain whether it is a common feature of Lumia 1320 or i am making any mistake while attaching a document and making calculations?

Then I said, not everybody going to use flip cover include me. I swich glance to "always on" then the problems come, the screen blank & wired.
Do you think PEEK difficult to use? Come on man Nokia PEEK it's copy Samsung note 3 & the spec of lumia 1320 is copy Samsung galaxy mega 6.3. I use 2 mega 6.3 before lumia 1320.
Something very important you need to understand, this place not for LEARNING ENGLISH, I wrote my comment, the ppl read & understand that all or you trying to said THE PPL WHO CAN'T WRITE PROPER ENGLISH cannot posting their views?? Who the hell you think you are.
For some user, what I said the 3 NAVIGATION button Is (back, Windows & search) NOT (volume, power & camera) get it right.

This will be reported to Lumia, so that an update to resolve this issue is released soon.
