AnonD-215305, 08 Jan 2014Let me be fair, without a doubt, The Samsung note 3 is agoo... moreI am considering buying a Nokia 1520 , I did own a Nokia 5800 several years ago, it run well, it was symbian in those days. Smart phones were picking in big numbers . I also did own an HTC with Windows 6.5 > It was not friendly to use. Years went by, not long ago I bought (2) galaxy note , one for my wife and one myself. But I have an issue (Complaint) with android , even the Galaxy note has 2GB internal memory and I added an SD memory with 64 GB , android keeps fooling around doing updates filling my internal memory with apps that I am not interest and that I do not need . I tried to transfer android programs to the Sd card memory, but it does not allow me to do that. This complicates things since my memory is full , I reset it in a few days is full again.
So I went an bought a new Galaxy note 3 , with 32GB internal and add 64GB SD memory card. But now, I got another problem with the Galaxy Note 3 using android. Samsung put a Regional lock on the Galaxy note 3 , so my phone does not work in certain regions. This in not good. I called Samsung locally to get it unlock , but their respond was -no- . So, I just sold the Galaxy note 3 to my sister who travels very little and she seems to be happy with it ( the note3 phone I bought could only be use in the Americas).
I need a new Smartphone for myself and my wife that works world wide with no issues and without any extra costs. I am reading about the latest smart phones reviews and the Nokia Lumia 1520 looks very promising. Besides the specs look great. I am not a great fan of Windows but Galaxy Note with Android is not doing the job I want. I hope to be able share my new experience with you all sometime soon. Smartphone fans.
Enjoyed your smartphones regardless. it is an interest world being able to share thoughts respectfully.
                              Best regards. Manuel

I sometimes experience it on my 1020, but very rarely. If it happens often you can try to turn off the auto brightness. And after another update look if the problem still occurs once you turned the auto brightness on again.

Your sensor must be over-responding or you must be using it without a cover i guess. Turn off the auto brightness and auto lock, I guess all would be fine then.
