Windows Phone has official Microsoft Office Suite, so it is surely the most stable office suite out there. The smoothness level of WP devices is as good as iOs on iPhone 5 or 5s.

Hello, I want to ask you about WP as I never seen a WP yet, what about the applications like office suit and adobe reader, are they available on WP and do they run smoothly as on android? As this makes me hesitate to buy this beast.

Android is good in terms of the number of apps in its Playstore and the customization of the UI is wonderful but once you own an Android device, you would only have to deal with depreciation each and everytime. Once you buy a high end Android device now, in two weeks or so, another one comes in and will only sh*t on your flagship whereas WP doesn't really face such problems like that. Only Nokia makes most of the WP8 powered handsets out there and there's not much of a competition going on unlike with Android you have Samsung, HTC, Motorola, Acer, Huawei, ZTE, Alcatel, Asus, LG, Pantech and Sony plus many other companies. It is only a matter of taste and it is your choice whether to go for any of them but I have decided to buy a 1520 once it gets available here in the Philippines. I am still thinking whether to get an iPad Air 16GB WiFi as a secondary device for many great apps this Christmas season or should I wait for a little pricedrop. :)

Nokia is such a foolish and mad company..bcoz whereas today's date every other brands are adopting Android os and nokia is still playing with windows os,windows platform is good but not much creation can be made as same as like symbian ,,lack of apps makes mobile dull with no matter how much good hardware and specification mobile is having....nokia need to adopt Android to come back otherwise nokia is already out of competing with any other company...

The hardware on this device shouldn't have a problem running wp8 I will probably be getting this device as soon as it comes out I have the Nokia Lumia 820 now and I never had a problem with it well worth the money if you ask me

Both have aspect ratio of 16:9,
D^2=L^2+W^2
W=9D/(377)^0.5=0.464D
We have,
W1=70.641mm
W2=67.11mm
Thus,
1520 bezels:85.4mm-W1=14.76mm
N3 bezels:79.2-W2=12.1mm
Delta=2.67mm, considering either side, delta/side = 2.67/2=1.33mm-> this is still a significant diff.

I really want to have this device badly! Lumia 1520 I believe is a very powerful device in a nice simple OS. WP8 has a bright future ahead of it though for now Android and iOS are leading the game but Windows is Microsoft so I bet at the end of the road they will still succeed. This bad boy was designed amazingly by Nokia and I really love the specs underneath the beautiful chassis. :)

AnonD-111968, 03 Nov 2013Why would Nokia loves HUGE BEZELS, these could have been a ... more1520 hasn't that huge bezel! Just look, it's 85,4 wide, S3 Note is 79,2. It has only 0,3 mm extra width considering it's 0,3" bigger than Note 3.
People still doesn't realize, that WP main menu doesn't cover the whole width of the screen, as you can see in the picture. It has couple millimeters blank at the edge of the screen.
Besides, little wider bezel cover it from damaging, if you drop it, unlike GS 4/Note 3.
