Rumors say that this phone has a slot for micro SD! This is going to be my next phone after my Optimus G Pro. Gonna try switching to WP8 OS.

vars, 05 Oct 2013Nokia will no longer be successful as it continues with win... moreWindows is an amazing OS.Just look at the fluidity and smoothness of the Lumia 920 or the HTC 8X Running only on a Dual core CPU with 1GB of Ram.Imagine how much that speed will Multiply when using the fastest mobile chipset to date with not only more cores but also higher clock speed and more Ram.

Eventually MSFT shall release a version of WP that'll be a fully optimized mobility system integrated with the Windows platform. Should they then launch high quality topend mobility devices the BYOD and Enterprise segments will come on board. Microsoft has never been a company to be first and foremost especially with both a hardware and software product.

The Lumnia 1520 looks to be the first of a topend device sorely needed (a year ago) and now needs to get WP8 upgraded beyond an 8.1 version. He hardware specs (obv rumored prelim) lack sufficient storage capacity since WP may never support external storage (dumb dumb dumb). As such the internal needs to be no less than 64gb and RAM at 3Gb. Its also missing 802.11ac and should reverse to removable power cell.

Still amazes me that these mobility OS development companies seem oblivious to certain base necessities for any road warrior mobility device. As for Microsoft they had best speedup development towards Windows Phone 9 or they'll continue to be but a fraction of this business segment

4.5 Inches screen of Lumia 925,lumia 1020 is more suitable & quite good for WdP8 OS, but not this phablet with the same Old lumia designed.
....Something is wrong with the designers for Nokia phablet.

babak, 05 Oct 2013what is unique about its design?its as ugly as other nokia ... moreAndroid rules, yes thanks to Samsung joining the Open Handset Alliance earlier in 2007. And what makes you think Nokia can knock Samsung off its Android throne with? Build quality? No. Brand name? No. Close down in 2011? Yes.

Unless you know what's going on with Nokia before the Microsoft agreement and WP is that they spent too much R&D on Symbian and they have almost no money left to manufacture Android devices without Google's help.

Then Google rejected Nokia's plea to use Nokia services on Android until this year (2013), Google told Nokia that they regretted the earlier rejection to allow them to build their first Android prototype, way too late Google!

Nokia's devices are going to be Microsoft-licensed in three months time in 2014 and the rejection of Nokia services on Android is one of the main causes Nokia also rejected to manufacture Android devices and started manufacture of WP devices and later on pre-sold their devices division to Microsoft instead.

It is so heavy . 250 g it will be.

My heart says I want it. My mind says it's too big for me. So I'll stay with my 1020.
