Hi I have been wanting one of 1520, one person I contacted told me that they had 1535 in Iraq and it was cheap as $150 US. Just wanted to know if lumia 1520 is referred to as 1535 in Iraq if not than I will be saved by a scam. Since there isn't any evidence of 1535 to be available in the market yet.

Android is not just for games!
It is in fact much closer to a regular windows desktop
OS than windows mobile itself! Windows phone had few superior pluses that Android lacks but it's a nightmare to use when it comes to basics: a) displaying of the web pages is horrible!; b) lots of stability issues (especially in windows 8.1)
I used to misjudge Android based on Laggish and Slow/difficult scrolling in Samsung Note 3
and Note 4 phones, but after I have tried clean android system from Huawei Mate 7,
I completely changed my mind. Clean Android with the latest hardware is super fast
and smooth!

How easy to turn off the sound of windows phones. Before u slide up your sleep mode screen, press the button for volume up/down than find the bell in the corner ....... OMG it takes so long, why can't add this button in the action menu like android. Ok i will survive without this. How to put simple ringtone from my music, have to move the song you like in specific folder.... that sucks. And what else the music player, how to add just one folder to listen. Just like simple Winamp for my desktop.... so far the windows-phones suck. I really hope they gonna fix all this things with W10 or I will change my phone.

i am confused in buying a smartphone. i can get lumia 1520 or xiaomi redmi note 2 for 160$. and i do need to use atleast for 2 years. which is durable for a student??

Anne, 23 Aug 2015Hi lumia 1520 owners, i just want to know if the screen of ... moreI have had Lumia 1520 for almost 2 yrs, I find it's brilliant, the camera is fantastic and as far as the screen being fragile, I've dropped mine a good few time and the screen is still intact, no marks or scratches on it and it is used rigorously. I do have it in a case though, but occasionally it manages to escape and fall out

Allan, 22 Aug 2015Are you sure everything is finally fine with Windows Mobile... moreThere are other basic Operating limitations:-
1) Cannot generate nor send a self Business Card.
2) Cannot download Google Earth, there are limitations of Here Maps in India.
3) Cannot save SMS to a Folder.
4) Cannot transfer few Adobe PDF Files (MTNL Bills - Mumbai) via Bluetooth.
5) Cannot open few Adobe PDF Files (MTNL Bills - Mumbai) sent as Email attachments.
6) Cannot directly forward emails with attachments, First need to download all attachments prior to forward.
7) Cannot attach multiple files of PPF, Word & Excel to an email, it works only for JPEG photos.
8) Cannot select a Cover Photo for your Photo Folders.
9) Need to Restart the phone each time for File Photo Transfers to be completed.
All the above limitations do not exist in Android phone, even the basic versions.

Hi lumia 1520 owners, i just want to know if the screen of this phone is fragile and does it really easily cracked? (i read some forum that its screen glass cracked easily without even falling or whatsoever)

I am having a problem connecting to home WiFi WPA2 PSK since I upgraded from wp8.1 to wm10 insider preview. Lumia 1520, any remedy? It connects to cable WiFi when I go to cyber cafe

Only thing i... moreAre you sure everything is finally fine with Windows Mobile
after your Windows 10 update? Because even one months ago I updated both
Lumia 920 and 1520 to the latest build of windows 10 mobile
And stability issues and horrible web rendering issues of Windows Mobile
were still there (where the hell is the new rendering engine?!)
Windows Mobile has very good PROS, like the best keyboard layout,
the best text auto correction (makes typing relaxed, very fast and smooth)
and the smoothest scrolling , but the cons bellow mess up everything:
WINDOWS MOBILE MAJOR CONS:
-Horrible web rendering and stability issues: 70 % of the websites/pages have the following
issues (not all at ones of course):
. -Text or image go one on top of another
. - The whole page does not fit the screen
. - Page jumping on opening a site
. -Constant page/image /text flickering in certain websites
. - Many web pages crush ( close down ) before you finish reading the article
. on that page
COME ON MICROSOFT! WHEN WILL THESE BASICS
BE FIXED ALREADY????!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just upgrade to window 10
Everything is fine
Only thing is Korean drama apps that can download but cannot open up....All Korean dram apps suffer same fate....miss my kdramas so much....
Can some help me please?
Or should I downgrade to window 8 again?
