Conduced between lumia 1520 or Xperia z2... Help me guys....

    Hi guys.
    I have Lumia 820(for 2 years)and I want to buy a better Windowsphone but I'm really stuck between 3 phones 1520,930,830.
    I don't know which one is better.
    I've heard that Lumia 930 has a poor battery life and heats up very much.
    And Lumia 1520 is heavy and it's hard to carry.
    And also I like the design of 830.
    I won't buy a new phone for 4 years so I have to choose carefully.
    Which one do you suggest?

      Hi David, I have being using the 1520 for the past one and half years (bought in December 2013-Malaysia). The phone is great in terms of battery life, no heating issues, screen clarity etc. However, Windows does not offer certain apps which usually available on Android smartphones or Iphone app store. If you are the type who do not use multiple apps, then this smartphone is awesome.

It is one of the best phone i have ever used (have used Samsung Galaxy, iPhone 4s). Awesome phone if you email, browse and use social apps (other than snapchat). Has awesome battery life and brilliant camera.

        While the available games runs very well, the store has lower number of games vs iOS and Android.

        Highly recommended phone.

              Me as a 63 old newcomer to the smartphone world has a question on reliability of the Lumia 1520. I have read many tests about the 1520 but my question to you 1520 folks is how does it works for you after a year working with it and if you had good or bad experiences (e.g.overheating, denim update. disappointing battery). I have almost decided to buy this phone because 1) good camera 2) good and fast processor 3) excellent screen and battery. Still doubt a bit to face bad issues as I had found out a year ago about spontaneous breaking glass of the sony Z series. I like to hear from you.

                Unfortunately 1530 or 1540 is nonsense, MS has intro 940XL in all series. We are like ones but what the used when no back up from anybody. Think SD 800 Will take us to 10.1 Windows. I don't think MS is earning sense take overshadowed. All moments are Un Called for. Camera, SS, ppi, hardware, all are haphazardly combined. Still being antique no result value, it mitzbishi car extinct.

                            My lumia 1520 is not charging beyond 81%, it worked perfectly for 14 months but now i am facing this issue after denim update, i did flash too but still the same problm i am facing, mine is rm-937. plz help me guys...

                                such as: Lumia 1520 RM938. This one and other unbranded Lumia phones get all updates as soon as they become available.

                                And that's another issue which Microsoft must fix.
                                No carrier should be allowed to delay updates!

                                    2)good battery life 1.5 days with heavy use (browsing internet using WiFi,gaming,watching video
                                    3)best mobile camera ever
                                    4)sharp crisp and bright full HD display
                                    5)32 GB inbuilt memory and up to 128 GB memory card support
                                    6)best sound quality
                                    7) smooth touch
                                    Cons
                                    1)OS not feel solid
                                    2)no app lock support
                                    3)no background download support
                                    4)no cellular video call support
                                    5)touch problem- when you set touch sensitivity high cortana appear again and again

                                        ~Contacts get automatically linked when you sign in with your Microsoft account and they start syncing to your new phone. Ones they are linked, you have to unlink them one by one! If you don't unlink them, then it.s a whole mess to understand who has called you or texted you..

                                        ~Please give people the option to chose between tiles menu and a regular desktop menu (this is very easy to implement!)
