After updating from WP 8.0 to 8.1 cyan , Lumia 1520 works like super phone,its buttery smooth battery life is excellent .No issues at all.

Can someone help me! How can we silence wp8.1 devices? I just can't find a way to do that so that incoming calls and notifications don't disturb! I'm using Lumia 1520 with wp8.1, in wp8 this functionality was there but it's gone after I updated the device! Thanks in advance and cheers fellow lumians 😊!

Owned since September 13,when getting one was lke made to order, plus 720$price tag, since it's update to 8.1my WiFi connection is perfect, but store is closed or try later. When restart it connects ad updates apps, then again attention required status. Have to gve static in address or restart everything. Pls help me to get a continuous connection, 2gb.
Also facing battery rechargeable each day.
Now it worth 500$ with no demand. It's all due to Windows, had it be Android hotcakes.

I have been using Nokia phones for going on 20 years and have always had good luck with them over other phones ! I want to say it was the 3100 i started out with ! You could say I grew as they have and never had a problem out of any of them ! If I was to ever brake one it was intentional ! I purchased a lumina 1520 last month and within one week the digitizer cracks the first time I drop it ! I'm so disgusted over it , it's safe to save I will never that mistake again !!! So gorilla glass sucks as_ from my experience ! After 2 years of using a IPhone 5 and dropped it more times than I can count , even into water a few times and even on to the freeway while on a motorcycle it never broke ! But it finally cracked the digitizer and the screen because my foot hit it while in a fast walking pace! Indestuckable phone is what apple should have named it ! Yeah insurance will replace it with a refurbished , pieced milled , hunk of shhhhtt! With only a 90 day warranty ! Which also means that it has already been someone else's problem before ! Which is like paying for a BMW , and getting a Hyundai in return ! So don't waste you money if you have any kind of physical life style! It is more dedicate than any laptop I've ever had ! And for gorilla glass , Chimpanzee would be closer to the truth! And for Nokia , you have become the Quality of a Kia from Korea ! It needed the word No as a suffice in front of it !!! Someone just beat them to it !

This phone and company is absolute rubbish. Damn 1520 stopped working after 5 months. Now Nokia won't exchange or refund it when it's their faulty hardware.
Fix your stupid sensor so that my screen comes back on MICROSUCK!!!

Good phone but useless OS. User friendliness of Windows 8.1 is far below the Android. Very limited Apps in Apps store. Limited customization options. Most of the apps cannot synchronize with PC. Regretting for selecting this phone with Win 8.1 OS.

please ... morethere is a great price difference,
see ur budget, if dont wish to compromise,
go for 1520 or else 930 wouldnt b a bad option..
specs r equal,
diff is in screen size and battery back up...
rest are same.

What I wanna know is how come the charts for the battery life tests don't feature the Lumia 1520( It being the best phone regarding battery life and all) like eg with the new HTC E8? If you are comparing phone I think the one at the top of the table should be the on you compare it to! Everybody wanna know how the stack against the best also considering this is one of the top selling points of any device!
