After roughly two weeks away, the Whatsapp Windows Phone app has returned to the Windows Store after a joint effort from Microsoft and Whatsapp.
Whatsapp originally pulled the app because of unspecified “technical issues,” though it has since come out that the problem appeared to be with how notifications were handled in the latest version of Windows Phone.

This phone is perfect on hardware as well as on software..
8.1 is simply stunning to use I don't know why people are still using Android
So much easy to use and focused on use not a toy
Display is the best ever on phone
Design so lovely really
No comparison in camera
Specs are 70% more than what it need such as CPU and RAM
Built Quality is so much solid and Awesome
Battery is super long

Does anyone have any idea when is the official update going to be released in Mumbai, India? I love the phone, after having used android for 5 years. Its refreshing.

I just bought Lumia 1520, its a good phone, at the same time im still using my note2, both of the phones is a good phone. Windows is more secure platform while android is an open sources, you can flash any rom into it, both of it have its advantage and disadvantage side. Its up to the end user what do they want.. For me I love both of its.. I can use both of its side by side depending on what I want and needs..

After using iPhone and Android for many years, I was skeptical to move to WP8.1 Believe me, it was this hardware that really attracted me and then WP 8.1, an awesome OS in the making. Understands the enterprise set up easily and becomes part of it in no time. SNS integration is better than Android. I find all the apps that I need in Windows Phone store. In a nutshell, superb UI/UX and I love this better than the other two.

Absolutely fantastic phone.
Syncs email, calendars, gotomeetings etc in such a nice way. Shooting meeting invitation or attending/hosting web conferences was never so easy.
Strongly recommended for business purposes.

AnonD-76824, 19 May 2014thanks buddy or i will switch to note 3, i thinkI have this phone and a galaxy note 10.1. I must tell u that even though there r apps that r more refined in android. The same case also lies for WP where many apps r better on WP. Many (very good ) apps and games in WP r not available in google play store....android is quite messy as well...most apps don't have widgets defying the point of homescreen in android while all apps in WP have live tiles and they r not messy as someone told u....they r quite handy and they make ur life alot easier (it's not just apps u can pin to start...it's everything; a note , an album , a radio station from tuneIn, route from Here maps...anything)...and oh, unless u live in the US, here maps r aloooooottt better than google maps, no wonder all automotive industry leaders have signed deals for it. The keyboard in Wp is also quite better. And WP8.1 has made things a lot better. Literally stunning. last but not the least the camera, not counting the 1020, this ie best camera on a phone u can get in the market...super amazing ....go for it and u won't regret it.

WhatsApp have been temporary disabled its gonna be available soon also Windows 8.1 official update coming in August this one is a Developer's Preview..
Apps are gonna boost up Microsoft promise that till end of 2014 so stay calm but still at least I can't find it less they are still quie a lot and in good standard unlike bugy in Play Store..
And enjoy this Monster cux for me its the world most powerful smartphone in every way

Tamilan, 24 May 2014Is it possible to install Android Kitkat version in lumia 1... moreI am sure WP 8 or 8.1 are great enough but if you like to have android in lumia 1520 it's impossible to have both with no crash and error(maybe android in lumia 1520 destroy and has bad effect on hardware/ like android apps on Blackberry to reduce mobile life).
if you like to have android phablet it's better you grab and choice htc one max.just htc sense in android is reliable and has no error(just htc flagships). especially one max that will get sense 6 and it has no lag -bug or error(you can see one M8 test in compare to galaxy s5 or z2 where M8 wins both with lower hardwares).
