Cheap phone! Feels cheap, looks cheap and... is cheap! It is not a "state of the art" phone but it has a fast processor and some good features like the 5mpx camera, the "big" screen or the W8.1 OS. It has some limitations like the fixed focus camera, NO proximity sensor, low ram size, crappy battery life, but hey... it´s cheap - it is supposed to SUCK!! But it doesn´t. Or at least, not so much! It really surprised me. I read many reviews stating it was a "entry level phone" or "low cost phone", but i still got one. And the only disappointing fact, for me, was the battery life. It only lasts for 2 days (heavy usage)! Compared to my lg l3 E400 wich lasts 3 days in heavier usage after one year of use! Maybe i am a "low cost consummer" and despite what reviews say, i am happy with it. I understand that there will always exist a phone rank but it is time to people realise that you get what you pay for, there are no hidden miracles, but is important that should be you who decides what to buy. Maybe (some) reviewers should stick to phone they are testing instead of stupid comparisons with better/newer models, looking like we are the richest bastards on earth to blow up a fortune buying that week´s top notch phone!! Hey... it is a nokia, and those guys know how to make phones!

amazing phone.... I bought my headset from snapdeal in just 5300... nd in this price range it is a killer mobile.... amazing speed... no hangup problem...

I bought the handset and in trying it messed up with the language setting it is now on a different language i don't understand. How can I revert to English?

I lust say this Nokia is a very good smartphone , even if is not expencive, he look expencive, is good cam, good too find apps, and too end a call, he dont go back, and i like the light on screen, i love this telephone, which other telephone for that price has a real 5 pix cam?

Smart phones, with a touch sensitive display, have a sensor that detects whenthe phone is held close to the face - this turns off the display and touch sensors so that you don't trigger the screen by accident.
The Nokia 800 series had a repuation for this failing, giving exactly the issue you are facing. I was able to replace my sensor (search ebay for a replacement part) but it's a fiddle.

I'm encountering a terribly annoying problem with this phone - after making calls the screen refuses to illuminate thereby making it impossible to end calls unless it is done by the receiver. Pls who can help with this????
