Picked up this little phone at Target to work as a second phone line for working from home. Didn't want to give customers my real mobile number. Had an extra line I was not using as part of the 4 lines for $100 thru T-Mobile. Loaded all the basic stuff just fine. No, it will not load apps from Google Play but I was able to get my gmail account synced just fine. Really surprised myself when I found an app called Tubecast (I am a big fan of Chromecasting). Was able to Chromecast from my local network on MP4 files and also able to cast anything that I could search for within the Tubecast app. Had to purchase a $30 pay as you go card but that can be applied to my T-Mobile account balance with a quick stop in a store. So, net amount paid for the phone of $40 and it is just fine for a side phone to slip in my pocket. My real phone is a Note 3 which is great but can be a monster of a thing to carry around.

Hi there, i received the nokia 530 as gift and i am actually using a nokia 700. I would like to know how can I transfer my data especially my text messages and notes from the nokia 700 to the nokia 530. Thank u.

its really a great phone! one thing is that facebook messenger cant be called :( how am i gonna fix this? any help pls.. :(

I was given this phone as a gift. My old phone did not have much only texts and calls. I was surprised that as soon as I had put the sim card in and started to set the phone up my rexts started coming through with the amount of internet charges i had used. Up to £50. This was a shock now I wish I had stayed with my old phone.

This is a really cool phone very cheap and good I know how some of you will feel about getting a cheap phone but this is excellent I would recommend it to anyone especially for kids its not a basic phone if you think. Instagram,Whatsapp and other things like facebook are also included but it is a Windows phone 8 so don't expect it to be like an android.

Never buy Lumia 530 I have problem memory out of line :1 . I go to service centre 2 times but problem not solved, they just format device,worst service.

530 is a good phone.but i find only one problem with it which is its very limited office . In android there are plenty of office suite which helps u to create word documents as if they are created on a windows desktop. But in 530 u only wish to view a document but not try to create a document...features of adding different style and fonts is not there. A very sneek feature of creating word document is given which is of no use and hello ??? creating powerpoint slides is also missing... And one big negative point is that there are no office suites present on the windows store
Other than the windows preloaded office...in android we have applications like kingsoft, quick office, polaris suite which are awesome and far better than this preloaded windows office
