No clarity is available on whether the Apollo update will come with new hardware requirements or whether it will be backward compatible that is available even for Windows Phone 7.5 Mango devices
I really want 710 to get this update.
They should soon clear this doubt as no 1 have full proof info regarding to this matter.

i don't think we can run skype or viber in it. i have heard skype beta version 0.2.0.0 was made but it doesn't run properly. we run yahoo messanger in it?

APPI, 23 Mar 2012Can u pls let me know the difference between lumia 610 and ... moreLumia 710 and lumia 610 has same camera spec , screen size ,resolution but 710 has clear black display which nice to have.
The differences are : 710 has 512 mb ram and 1.4 ghz processor where as
610 has 256 mb ram and 800 mhz processor.
3 buttons are physical in 710 and capacitive in 610.
710 is priced at - 14,500 rupees
610 is expected to be arnd - 11k or 12K.
My choice would be 710 if u can spend some more for processor & ram....

Ace dont have much battery backup .andriod has same apps 6 to 7times in market .virus issue is there. Haning problem, low display resolution. People get bored of andriod sameUI in all product only screen size is bigger. Windows is the future. A smart phone for smart person

- Ram and processor is low and that is bcoz this phone is targeted for those
who cant spend more like for 800 or 900 or 710 etc.
As a result it has TANGO operating system which is suitable for it.

Ricky, 20 Mar 2012Is multitaskng nd antivirs avlbl in ths phn nd wht waz jati... more1 does not need any anti-virus for WinPh (there's just no virus for it)... Multitasking WILL BE AVAILABLE. Only memory intensive stuff, eg. video podcasts will be unavailable.
Bluetooth data transfer is disabled as WinPh OS doesn't support it. I can't say if d restriction will be removed with Tango (610 will ship with it).
Chances of 610 getting updated to WinPh 8 (a.k.a. Apollo) r slim - but it shud go in future.
U may try to transfer data, contacts, et al, using Wi-Fi though - but d other phone should have it too.
PS: Its inexplicable why bluetooth transfer was disabled in first place. Its only use on available Lumia phones is for pairing with Bluetooth headsets.
