Hey guys, my lumia 625 is from middle east countries and i live in India. Do i get the cyan update released in India or i get the update which will be releasing in middle east countries?

dumee, 01 Jul 2014Good one.....but my lumia 625 doesn't show 4G network...why... more4g network is still not released by the govt, so it will not show 4g and h➕ is high speed data

Nokia Lumia 625 - User Review
I've been using the Nokia Lumia 625 for around three months now. I'd like to share my experience with you, so that anyone pondering whether to go for Nokia Lumia 625 or any Lumia phone can make a smart decision.
I'd like to share that i've been a very content user of Nokia E52 for around three years and had to upgrade to another mobile just because of the fact that the Nokia Service Center can't identify the root cause of the problem my Nokia E52 encountered and failed to switch ON.
I purchased a Sony Xperia E and used it for around six months and was quite satisfied. It almost fulfilled all my needs except one, OFFLINE NAVIGATION / MAPS, an inherent drawback in any Andriod smartphone. Unfortunately i lost my Xperia in an accident and has to get another new smartphone in just six months time.
I settled for Nokia Lumia 625 as all the Lumia series has OFFLINE NAVIGATION / MAP capability.
I had a few major concerns with Lumia after using it for a while and now i realize i've made a wrong choice picking up a Nokia Lumia smartphone.
1. OFFLINE NAVIGATION / MAPS can't downloaded through data connection. Only WiFi download is supported. If you don't have a high speed WiFi network available, forget the OFFLINE MAPS. Why do Nokia care if you download the maps through data connection or WiFi? Only solution is to get yourself a second data connection with a WiFi router just for the sake of downloading the maps or go find a WiFi network at workspot or your friends' or neighbours' home and download the maps.
2. NO 3G ONLY option available in Network Selection, which is available in al Android Smartphone. If you can't compromise on data speed because of frequent change in the network mode (3G & 2G), forget the Nokia Lumia. I've had far better experience with my Sony Xperia in the same location where Nokia Lumia underperforms due to the fact that there is no 3G Only Network Mode.
3. CANNOT BE USED AS A USB MODEM, which again is available in any Android Smartphone. Internet sharing available only as WiFi Hotspot which sure will drain the battery twice as fast than normal usage. But, with Sony Xperia i had the safety of using high speed data connection through USB and charging my phone at the same time. If you use or plan to use your smartphone as a source of high speed data connection, Lumia is a worse choice than any Android Smartphone.
4. NO FILE MANAGER. If you want to manage your files in your Lumia, only option is to connect it to a Laptop / Computer. All Android smartphone has an on-board File Manager which is not in Lumia.
If you feel that any one of the above four concers you just a little, better avoid Nokia Lumia and get any Android Smartphone with almost all the same features as a Lumia for nearly HALF THE PRICE of it. If you need OFFLINE NAVIGATION / MAPS, then get yourself a WiFi router with a data connection also with the Lumia. Also, the Windows Apps Market ain't as good as Andriod's.
I like to recommend all who have Nokia Lumia in their mind as their next smartphone to ignore it and save your hard earned money by going for an Android smartphone.

Just bought this phone about a month ago. I know this is not the best windows phone out there, but I use this phone purely for work (emails, documents)social media and internet browsing... And it worked just fine and great battery life.

Excellent phone by nokia. Great battery backup and great performance. Why should i use hate word about its specification like 512 ram, when it is working smoothly. This phone made for professional and entertainment both purpose, not for those people like all time make busy on your self with playing game movies.
You can purchase any video or playing devices for your 24 hrs entertainment, and for this you need to spend more money.
But in Budget, if you want your phone really work smartly for you, then you should take this phone. This phone will help in your professional work and also it will give entertainment in your free time.

Im planning to buy nokia lumia 625.. and i've used nokia lumia 800 but ive encountered signal/network issue..when i enetered elevator and came out ive noticed that my signal bar was dead..and I didnt get any calls and text all day long and figured out after restarting my phone.does all nokia lumia series has signal/network problem? Please help..thanks in advance..

I've been using this phone since 2and half months...
no problems till now....
working excellent.....
lumia is for only who want to use it professional.
no viruses and no lagging.
some times voice recognition gives trouble.

this is money west phone . i use this withen 1.5month now i realise that i waste my money on dibbbbba phone .it can,t support high defination games.its screen regulation is very bad .overall i give this phone 4 out of 10 .महा रदà¥à¤¦à¥€ फोन।
