hey.... very bad, I have purchased this Nokia 630 before 15 days only... and getting trouble to access SD Card,(items on sd card not working)& even sometimes sim card not work properly.. i shown this to Nokia care but still problem is as it is..

about Nokia XL.. microsoft ends production n development of nokia x android os, s40, s60(asha series) , nokia mixradio 2days ago..
so dont go for x n xl coz u cant get any support from ur x os phones from microsoft n Nokia.
now microsoft n Nokia only concentrate on windows phone development according to CEO Satya nadella..
so go for 630..
I think microsoft now planning to replace x os by wp os in nokia x n xl devices but no guarantee.

I have this device, and when i activated the battery saver option, the estimated remaining time decrease about 2 hours. at 77% estimated time remaining is 14 hours when not activated and 12 hours when activated. is it normal? (well, i don't think so if you said yes) and how is the estimated time remaining when the battery level is at 100%? (look on battery saver)

Yes, it's superior to moto E on paper how... moredude zedfone 4 has only has 1200mah battery with android which is biggest joke considering a smartphone.. every user demanding minimum 2000mah battery. now days which is atleast work for full day..
1200mah deads in 2-3 hours.. it is like asus giving ferari with only one litr petrol tank..
all lumia has best qualcomm chipsets.. microsoft not allowed any other chipsets for wp devices
moto E atleast has 1900mah which is sufficient.for day.
lumias has best hardware...

Switch from lumia 820 to 1320 and I got a phone that can last 2 days without heavy use as I mainly use it for surfing but what I regret about is the 5 mp camera. When I got the cash I'll switch to 1520 with the 20 mp camera.

anik, 16 Jul 2014Lumia 525 will b better or lumia 630 will b better to use..... more630 got 512ram and 525 1gb ram. Got for the one with bigger ram cause it can use all the apps in marketplace but with 512 ram, you`ll be limited to apps and games that is limited to 512 ram. That`s why window os never lags and im still using lumia phones since my first lumia 710. Now im using lumia 1320 because of its 3400 battery.

Hi,
if to take all good things of this Nokia in comparison with its price you can give excellent "mark" for it, as for me.
There are several things that I don't like:
- the color of back cover is to bright (I bought orange one) if you compare with officially made photos;
- 512 MB of RAM is not enough for playing different games on WP8.1. Sometimes, for example, "Angry Birds Epic" is getting off;
- no oleophobic coating of the screen, it gets marked after few touches.
- and some faint nonuniform illumination on the top of screen on completely white pages.
All other things are great. Even low resolution is really good enough for such size of the screen. "Large" pixels are not easy visible. If you start to see them - put your head away, you are very close to the screen, Nokia cares about your eyes.

mag c, 18 Jul 2014I manually downloaded asphalt8 from windows store and downl... more.bin is not supported dude..
.xap is original format of wp apps..
do following steps,
1- change its extention to .xap using pc..
2- now put this. xap file in sd card(NOTE- not in internal memory)
3- now open store app n u can see sd card option ther in bottom..
click on it n u can see ur asphalt8 ther.. click n install..
you need active internet connection to verify app.. done
Note- 1- if sd card option not seen on store app then restart ur phone n then try..
2- always download. xap files from official windowsphone.com site..
there is option to download apps/games manualy..
3- if ur file is not shown in sd card then its not official or pirated or outdated..
alway download up to date. xaps from above site..
microsoft doesn't allow piracy n app download from other sites for ur security.. so always download apps/games from windowsphone.com

I manually downloaded asphalt8 from windows store and downloaded file shows as .bin file. It has about 950mb. Its not under the local apps. What to do?

Yes, it's superior to moto E on paper however the price is close to double too. I guess most retailers are selling it >10k in India. At that price I'm very tempted to spend lil more and go for the Xiaomi Mi3...

Quad core vs dual core
8gb vs 4gb RAM
More expandable memory.
However if you are playing games, then 630 may be a problem.
