I'm thinking of buying this phone but I have a concern.
Does the Facebook / Twitter etc. run smoothly with 512Mb of RAM?
Because I have a Desire C and the 512Mb of RAM are just for running the system smoothly. The new facebook app plus Twitter plus Messenger without any chance!

Another Microsoft failure. Battery works no where near claims.
Software locks up when two more apps are going.
They might sell a few more when they drop the price to $39.95
If they keep giving these away for cheap, Microsoft
might dent the smartphone market.
My bet is they abandon the product.

Not so good. Winodws 8.1 is for teenagers not for office. Lumnia 635 has no front camera therefore no Skype !!?? It”s difficult to reach what you need with all those stupid icons. I sincerelly regret I just bought one !

sometimes i wonder whats wrong with microsoft
no proximity sensor (is a must for a touch phone)
no ambient light sensor (is a must for a touch phone)
no front cam
no led flash
what for is motion sensor??? i know its a good feature but not necessary. i don't know what go into the minds of Microsoft before they plan to release a product in the market which lacks the necessary things and has plenty of unnecessary things.

I was wondering if it should show the windows symbol twice as when I switch my phone back on it shows nokia then the windows symbol twice on my nokia lumia 635 please help

Looks like a really nice phone but im worried about that 512 ram. Im afraid that this will hold the phone back in games and multitasking. Like I dont think this phone can play fifa 2014 or real racing 3. Can anyone of them who has this phone tell me if im wrong?

I've had a Lumia 520 before and all I can say is that this faster and every runs smoothly, even when multitasking. However, I don't know why Microsoft had to cut features like the proximity sensor when 520 is supposed to be a lower-end budget phone than 635. I also miss the navigation bar as part of the hardware. Now with the same mount of pixels and a bigger display the screen resolution got lowered, which is a shame considering that 520's resolution was just ok. So, why the bigger, but lower-res, display if a considerable part of the screen will be occupied with keys you cannot hide? Unless you watching videos in full screen
