According to Microsoft website Lumia 638 it's Windows 10 compatible. Windows 10 mobile update is not available for Lumia 638 alone in India. When I enquired about this issue to Microsoft, they said that denim update will be launched officially for 638 and then only our phones can be updated to Windows 10. How long will it take to happen? No one knows.Microsoft India sucks because of unskilled developers who don't even bother to push Ota updates for even Windows 10 compatible devices.

Nokia Lumia 638 is eligible for Windows 10 Mobile Update. I just checked it on Windows 10 Upgrade Advisor App.

It is nice mobile when compared the process.windows 10 preview build is very fast and accuracy.
I compared with Lumia 638 with 640 xl it is faster , the windows 10 preview build.nice mobile with 5700 rs.

It has 1 GB of RAM, you might have seen 630 or 635......they are equipped with 512 MB RAM. 638 has 1 GB.

Because in another site, it's 512MB RAM, but here, 1GB RAM. Please somebody, tell me the truth

Hey!Stark.
I have a lumia 638 and I live in India.I know how to update it to denim and then to windows 10.
First download "Windows Insider" app from windows store.Then register your microsoft acount as an insider account from microsoft.com.
Then click get preview builds>fast ring>then go to updates>check for update>download.
I may take a while and varies with internet connection.Then install lumia denim but note that you must have a free space of at least 1.5 GB in your phone storage.
After successfully installing denim,then again go to windows insider and follow the previous steps but this time you habe to reboot/restart your phone.After restarting,go to updates>check for updates>download the latest windows techincal preview build and enjoy...
Recently Microsoft has release build 10581 which has a lot of bug fixes and I am quite happy with this one...

I was a previe version 1.signin in windowsphoneappstudio.com. 2.download preview for developers from store 3.check ur phone 📱 update 4.update ur phone for denim 5.finally uncheck the box in preview for developers app.. Now u where ready with ur new version of Windows 8.1(denim)
