glossy
1.easy to wipe
2.good grip for people with sweaty hands
3.looks more premium
4.finger prints less visible especially on white ones
5.very slippery for people with dry hands
matte
1.best grip for all types of hands
2.difficult to wipe dirt, actually you need wet cloth to remove dirt
3.fingerprints more visible especially on black phones
4.many people like matte phones because they feel good in hand it's like they are stuck in that hand reducing accidental drops
this is just my view on the two materials

manufacturers rarely do this because it can affect the sales of the higher phones or the successor of the upgraded phone!

AnonD-143068, 30 Aug 2013Frnzzz gud news, today I have got an email from nokia that ... moreits not that simple to explain. 720 and 520 have lot of driver vulnerabilities because of few extra hardware. because of that compressing the driver packages is tough. 620 is much like a stock Microsoft device.
When you get the update on you 720 just compare it with 620 you will come to know why it was delayed. Compare it after 2 months of usage and you will difference in storage management gps locks, bluetooth file transfers, micro sd card speed. these are few small things which are also being taken care of.

I had nokia 603 running on Symbian belle. Processor was of 1 ghz. Then they provided an updated and the processor speed was clocked to 1.3 GHz.

1- few ppls says l620 dnt hav fm radio so l620 get approval very soon than other..
2- in my opinion l620 is launched with l920 n l820.. it means l620 launch 4-5 months beforethan l520 n l720 so l620 deserve update 1st.
