For the last 24 hours, I have been trying to update my Lumia 720 software to the latest Vr.
Was not able to update with error message (801881d0)

My touchscreen shows problems during operation Even after formatting the os the problem with touchscreen still persists. This happens only very rarely but it irritates when it occurs

Is there any more updates for Lumia 720 after the 8.1 update.
Like to have a suggestion upon the attachment files while composing an email. Its better to add every kind of file in an email but now its only able to attach photos directly from email

Exceptionally great phone in the midrange segment. The Nokia Lumia 730 will be a good successor cause 199 euro is really competitive.

about price tags ms says 730 price is 199 euros without taxes n duties. which is rs.15800 approx..
if u know now marketing game is in microsoft hand n ms already lowered 530 n 630 pricetags to 7.2k n 10k respectively.
so we can expect 730 price around 15-16k according to indian conditions like moto g2 n mi3 selling at very lower price tags.. if ms aware of this then ther is possibility that ms can launch it below 15k n in my opinion rs.13999 is perfect price to compete..

As you mentioned all features are definietly be there as it a succeser of Lumia 720. It's gonna be best phone b'coz I already having good experience of 720. So no doubt on specs. But if everyone expecting price around 13-15 K ? Then please don't expect too much. With these specs this phone might be above 15 K, around 18,18.5 K Like you I am too Lumia user and enjoying great experience with my Lumia 720. Even with 512 MB ram my phone works smoothly. Asphalt 8 game runs like wow! Yup WhatsApp is issue but after update I am quite satisfied. Rarely phone gets hanged. So many times dropped but still no issue. Even I am lucky till now for not facing any issue of volume down key not working or freez. It's depends on how you handle it. Overall nice experience and will continue with my Lumia 720 until I get bored.

but u miss some things here...
1- double tap to wake available
2- it has HD(1280×720) Amoled display with 316ppi.. which is great.
3- dual sim,
4- sd card upto 128gb,
5- 1GB ram... most wanted
6- snapdragon 400 whis is more powerful than 720's s4..
7- its 1.2 ghz quad core which is definitely powerful than 720's 1ghz dual core,
8- 5mp ffc... OMG...
9- 4.7" display
10- more battery life.
11- free month free skype subscription in whole world.
12- slightly thiner than 720,
13- nice design
14- price even less than 720 price..
I understand absence of glance(because of amoled) n dolby is painful but we have to overcome from this..
surround sound n equilizer is still ther for audio..
camera key is dropped to differentiate high end n low end lumias..
about on screen keys... its okk because my brother has moto g n it also has on screen keys.. its not painful to operate anymore.. even HTC One m8 also has onscreen software keys..
so let me tell u double tap to wakeup is available.
only missing things r,
1- camerra key,
2- glance screen,
3- dolby®
all other things are present in 730 with high improvments..
if ms manage it to launch at rs.13999 in india then it is real competitor for moto g n g2 as well..

Even after release of 730 & 735 I still love my Lumia 720.
I would love to upgrade to the successor of 720 but few things I found funny in Lumia 730 & 735:
- No glance screen ( may be b'coz of amoled display)
- No external camera shutter button? even these phones are specially named as Selfie Phones.
- On screen buttons in 730 & 735 which I hate compare to my 720 having separate on bottom.
- No double tap wake up screen option.
- No dolby sound.
Advantages of 730:
- Dual sim
-Battery slightly higher
- front camera is best
- 1 GB ram
besides these features Lumia 720 still rocks.
And after 8.1 update I loving my phone more than ever.
Just keep patience Windows will improve soon.
I am fully satisfied with my choice 0f 720 with smooth functioning, better camera - video quality, sound, gaming... everything which I required (basic necessary) are all in this phone.
So even after a year still keeping my Lumia 720.
This is the best phone in entire lumia series with budget & specs wise. :)

This is waste of so much money which is earned with hard work ... my phone has volume (which is ok with me) but beware when I took lot of photo & vids of my trip in internal memory ... I don't know why but from that time its screen is blank and is not even starting and discharging after showing a blue screen for a long time ... lesser costing mobile don't behave like this ... now to make it proper they are saying all my datas have to be deleted ... So Beware of this mobile
