After using it for 4 days,there's only one word to describe it "AWESOME".This phone works like a charm,no issues whatsoever.Lumia 720 is a great buy.

AnonD-4420, 08 Jul 2013To increse battery backup , use wifi instead of 2g and 3gI have found from my experience that 2g is more friendly on battery than Wi-Fi. May be airtel provides a sucky connection that most of the apps don't even get to connect internet. :)

You just have to press and hold the rupee symbol, you'll get dollar, Euro, Pound, Yen etc.
Not sure about your other queries as I don't extensively use it like you.

For $sign (typed from 720) change your keyboard to US English.
Group Sms works absolutely fine, click + icon and multiselect contacts from phonebook.
I dont use whatsapp etc better contact the developers highlighting the issue,an update may fix it.
With time and learning most issues will be resolved.

Jacky, 07 Jul 2013I doubt this phone supports multitasking.Some apps like WhatsApp wechat Skype load everytime u switch from one app to another ... This is a big shock to me ... Never expected from a smartphone to have such shortfallllll

Demerits of Nokia Lumia720:
1. Videos cannot be downloaded from whatsapp though it can be seen on whatsapp.
2. Pre recorded Videos & Audio files cannot be forwarded on whatsapp unless shot on whatsapp.
3. While creating group, one can add upto only 25 in a group.
4. While trying to send SMS in a group, SMS can be send in some groups only.
5. While working on several apps at a time, some apps like Skype, wechat etc load again everytime you switch from one app to other.This is so much gross.
6. While sending SMS, one cannot select x number of recipients at a time. It has to be selected one by one, this is irritating.
7. While getting unknown call, TRUECALLER doesn't detect the number. This feature has been working super well on mobile such as nokia E5.
8. This phone doesn't have gesture typing. This is biggest drawback. Hopefully some app will b launched in the future which will sort out this problem.
9. This phone doesn't have $ sign. One has to get it copy paste from internet. The way i did it now.
10. Still exploring the phone. Hope I don't come across anymore problem.

Jacky, 07 Jul 2013I doubt this phone supports multitasking.Hey buddy, i think you dont know the basic feature which makes a phone a smartphone, it is the multitasking which is one of the major reason to call a phone a smartphone, and i hope you know that lumia 720 is a smartphone, so there is no doubt that it can support multitasking... Lol... Dont even know what a smartphone is..!

Hey. I do agree that lumia720 is one of the best, i got everything they promised except the battery life last only for 4-6hrs when i use my data connection for internet. Is it normal? If anybody here aside from nokia knows the answer, pls msg or tag me with ur reply. It'll be highly appreciated. Thanks

eager, 06 Jul 2013hey... i'm eager on buying lumia 720.. i have heard it has ... morei hve purchased nokia lumia 720 just a week after its release, the thing is the phone's specification is good like 8 gb phone memory, good view or the best view of display , good sound especially with dolphy headphones, and many other things like office, regula updates and bing search, and matter of facebook apps day to day update is also very cool, and best camera clicks, thats all the good thing about it.....
Except and Only Only in the matter of games it has fallen thanks to 512 mb ram, because of that its not possible to keep any apps more than a gb in the phone memory... if your buying it, please don't go for 64 gb sd memory card...go for a 16 gb sd card
