i think there a problem with my lumia 720... as i read in the review battery is very good.. BUT MY LUMIA 720 IVE NOTICE ITS DISCHARGING and i just fully charge last nigth before i sleep... when i wake up in the morning battery is half whats happening... i just purchase this a week a go.. can any one tell me how can i make long life my battery

Dean, 27 Apr 2013Nokia fans out there! Let's think of this..Why don't we mak... moreOnly samsung makes good profits out of android. Ofcourse if Nokia would have gone for android it would have made instant jump with the cool design builds, but woulkd have been a bad long term startegy.
Samsung has now fully mature Interface called Touchwiz which is default on all androids.
Android is opensource and hence samsung might take the ship for it's own personal gains. It is already working very actively on TIZEN OS. Seems it is going to dump Android or has a backup plan. If it builds its own OS on android, it can kill Google Play store and come out with its own Store.
Google owns motorolla and hence with the X series from Moto going to be launched soon, it is going to kill the markets of android. (One reason for samsung developing its own software)
Over a period of time Android has become bloated and needs a refresh/rebuild - Windows phone is new and refreshing.
If WP fails there is a possibility of Microsoft pumping money / buying stake in Nokia with its deep pockets. Microsoft even paid subsidies when nokia announced partnership which it needed badly then. Imagine if nokia would have failed with android it would have been a lone horse with no friends. Google won't rescue Nokia since it already has Motorola to run/save..
Let Nokia create a new platform altogether. It's different and has hopes for longterm.

And quantity of Apps/games would suck on WP8.
If you are not app centric, go for Lumia... (4.3inch screen size)

The fact is nokia builds great hardware, but has a wierd marketing strategy. They would have one flaw in each of their phones and would confuse the customer.
Like this one with low RAM and L820 with no gorilla glass and low battery. It does it on purpose and that really makes me angry. It has the capability to make the phone best. L720 could have been one but then it would have cannibalised L820's sales.

Here Maps - It is like Google Maps and you can do offline saving for whole world.
Drive App - Voice navigation but only for one country I guess.

Well there are different kinds of people with different needs. Lumia is specifically for those people who wish to do simple things, things that work everytime. There are people like me who after using android have realised that the so called marathon of apps on android was not for them as they ended up just doing simple tasks. Email / Whatsapp / Calls / Browsing / few pictures / Maps and hey the device should not look like cheap plastic...and they wanted it to be un-irritating against carrying your charger/extra battery everywhere.
So Lumia is a no nonsense phone. You are wrong on saying it does not have basic things...infact it only has basic things being done well....
