9- flash player
evry phone in past works on adobe flash player... bt for ur kind info. adobe officially decleard tht they wont make any flash player for phones.. so flash content supported by flash player(i.e. pirated nd fake site which provides u online streaming movies, matches, and other content) wl not access by any phone frm this year.. adobe totly killd flash player for world evry os phone(android, ios, bb10).. bad news bt true.. Now this gap is filld by HTML5 which also 1 type of flash player bt it is in its initial stage.. so hope they improve ther performance in future..
3- app list
dude its a wp8's UI.. if u install more than 100 apps and games how u can find a perticular app..
so this is not a drwback.. do u want app list like android, ios. which is look same.. vry bad
10- media player
Even androids media playr doesnt support .mkv, .flv nd .avi..
mx player is just 3rd party app which gives u playback of all formats..
14- messaging
Here apps like gtalk, google, gmail, youtube are not good coz google officially not provides ther apps to wp8.. coz wp8 is tough comtator of google which is work for android(google playstore)
rather than that all u mentiond are drawbacks.. and MS wl resolve this soon...

before launch of gingerBread 2.3 android was totly sufring company.. befor 2.3 gb ther was 5-6 android versns were cme in market..
2.3 gingerbrd was launchd in dec. 2010 and ardroid is launchd in 2009.. now u decide
wp8 creats whole platform in only 6 months.. they are not god to make whole improvments in 1 day.. just give them some time to improve it..
and if u dont hv time then ther were no any restrictions go for any android or ios phone

Not only L720 lags on 2G all the mobile lags when you download certain high mb apps because 2g are in kbps speed.Just give your contact number here our friends many buy it.

U r right, tomorrow, I m going to sell my lumia720 ( will certainly miss nokia brand value + awesome design) As day by day finding out few more problems besides quoted as per 'Masroor' like cant move cursor between text character while typing, & I usually use 2G connection so while downloading some apps it application hangs & there is no way to lose it (like 'x' mark on top). & also in alarm I couldn't found am pm settings.
I will purchase Nokia N8 (my previous phone which got stolen) or Sony ION or will wait for sony L.
Certainly I m going to back with nokia when they upgrade their OS and few things.

just count how many lumias in market.. and htc made only 2( 8s nd 8x) having price like gold..
who gives world navigation maps to MS?
NOKIA
and htc use nokia maps in his wp8 devices..
only nokia gets full eforts to imrove wp8 market..
htc is still droid making compny..

Your are very brilliant all point were right but now i have a doubt what mobile are you using whether ANDROID or APPLE in that case when these OS was introduced did they all preloaded with all these feature or slowly they updated
Why i have doubt because just recently W8 was launched and L720 cost is 17k but we all expect the feature of a 38k price mobile in 17k mobile.
Bro if your interested just buy other wise better go for android or apple.

"Could any one having this phone answer these questions to help my/many wp lover's decision in buying it? These concerns were raised by a user and are unverified so I am pasting here. :
1- Ringer volume: Ring volume and media player volume are linked, if while playing song you turn the volume down to 15 on the scale of 0-30, the ringtone also automatically turns down to 15 so you might miss some calls.
2- Video calls: It does NOT support 3G network video calls though it has front camera. For making video calls you must use apps like Skype.
3- Apps list: Once you installed 40 or so apps it automatically sorts them in A-Z list, no way to turn it off.
4- Smart dialer: Suppose you want to call "home" so you can`t press 4663 and list down matching suggestions. You may use apps like true dialer to achieve this but Windows OS does not allows them access to missed and received calls.
8- Photo on dialer: While dialing any contact it does not show its photo on screen, while receiving call it does shows photo.
9- Flash Player: It supports Adobe flash player lite only, so you can`t watch live streams like live IPL streamed on YouTube. Normal YouTube uploaded videos works fine.
10- Media Player: Nokia player is good but doesn`t supports mkv format. MX player is yet not available for windows platform.
11- Crashes: While visiting sites which use heavy flash, browser may crashes displaying 3 sec video of saying "recovering memory". It happened to me quite a few times.
13- Call log: It does not display call summary after call. Does not display how much you talked on one particular call. Also if you called "Home" 10 times it shows "Home", "Home", "Home" ..... 10 times.
14- Messaging: Google chat is not integrated to it, you need to download external app to chat. Since many of us use Google services, I felt this option should be there.
15- Auto Rotate: There is NO way to turn auto-rotate off.
16- Ring Profiles: There are not any ring profiles such as General, Silent, Meeting etc. You have to turn volume all way down to achieve silent/vibrate only mode.
19- To skip forward a song to particular instant on song timeline you cant tap on it, you have to press and hold next."
