Good news :)
Retailer Saholic is now listing Lumia 720 without any price indication. This is the first listing of Lumia 720 at any retailer in India. Though the way it has been priced in other markets, expect it to be around Rs 18499-18999. Saholic expects it to be available by 30/04/2013.

If i have to buy it @ around ind Rs.16K-20K then Nokia should incorporate following
1. Dual sim is must
2. camera with ability to have clear images in dark
3. 16/32GB on board
4. 1GB-2GB ram
5. Multi-tasking
6. Corina glass
7. IPS TFT display

Those whom you called as nokia die-hard fans might be comprising just below 5% of the total market... Nokia has to join the competition or they will loose their integrity. As of now they are still far way behind from other mobile brands carrying the Android OS.

There'll be optimization versions of the hd games from gameloft go to ready for wp8 wit 512 MB RAM devices:-) so don't worry about games friends the L720 is better in Camera,Music,Maps:-)

AnonD-44163, 31 Mar 2013then it would be the end of lumia 820, you should understan... morewell, then they should've put a decent battery in 820! i would pay for 620 a bit more than 820 if it had 1gb of ram,, nokia should always think of a top mid-range device as much as the top high-end one!

I am very much interested in buying this phone. i had a idea about low battery backup, but the people who used it r saying it lasts for a day atleast after 1-2 weeks. so its ri8 i guess. - after 3 weeks of usage I get two kinds of back, a 5 hr one when i play games and surf and a 12 hr one when i use it moderately.
the best part i love abt lumia is the camera. no issues with that. i mostly will use lumia for pictures, navigation, browsing and music. and sometimes apps.
but some r telling we dont get to store our apps in sd card. can that be overcome now or in future? - Yes, all your apps and games will go in the internal memory. Mostly will get the ability to move apps sd card in the future but can't say for sure.
heard that ms is going to withdraw support from win 7.5,7.8 or 8 in 2014 sometime. is that gonna affect anyway? - Fingers are crossed, but cant say. Personally I think it won't affect us, but depends completely on MS. To be frank, i bought this device keeping in mind that i will be using it for maximum 2-3 yrs.
can we do multitasking in it? hearing some issues abt it. can we open like 160by2.com, and send an sms while seeing the msg in our inbox without closing the browser? or mayb download a file or song while doing fb? can we download videos from youtubes or other sites? - No, multitasking is a big issue of wp. Though it maintains a snapshot the apps, but doesn't maintain their state. So if you are downloading anything and you switch to other app, the downloading will stop and you will have to restart it again.
some r saying that fm is going to come in nxt update, will be gr8 for me then. - There is a possibility as the hardware is capable but the software part is missing. So again, fingers crossed.

Also the device lacks LTE radio which should reduce it's price, it has a 1ghz dual core processor which differentiates it and should make it cheaper as well. It packs gorilla glass the lumia 820 does not. I would say if this phone had a gig of ram this would have really bolstered windows phones in areas with out LTE,being affordable and powerful. But, this is just my opinion.
