Nokia and Microsoft are getting more interesting. First, you have the wireless charging feature by Nokia. The build quality of Nokia. Another is, this Windows Phone 8 OS doesn't need a much higher processor to run smoothly. A 512mb RAM and a 2core Processor is just enough unless you're a heavy gamer. These devices will stay cheap that way. If you have the same spec as these using android.. it will get laggy at times, which is why Galaxy S4 is moving to 8core CPU.

Nokia just keeps producting most amazing features! I think 720 will replace my 808 for time being, until there will be v. 2 of 808 Lumia range.

How's camera quality of 820 and 720? Is 820's picture very bad in comparison with 720's? Is there too much difference between the two? That's the only thing picking my brain for a while. Thanks in advance for the replies :)

All window OS smartphone functionally remain the same.
They have to depends on Desktop/Laptop for one reason or another.
Without Desktop helps, its seem to be paralyzed for media transfer/software upgraded

I read few comments and these really made my day. Man if windows phone does not have widgets, it has live tiles where you can place ''widgets'' inside tiles. You can also customize background in WP8 and lock screen as well. Regarding OS customization. WP is not open source so, you can not edit the OS just like you can do in android after rooting phone. But that is not required as well if OS can satisfy all your needs. WP can fulfill almost all needs. Developers are now moving towards WP platform and WP store is also getting flooded with apps. Missing applications like good all in one media player shall also become available one day. But what is available today, you can compromise on it. Google developed its android from ground. Now, Microsoft is doing the same. Building strong business in certain field takes lot of time.
But I must say, if you are fan of some specific product, stop uttering crap about other products which you do not like.
End of rant.

I have a galaxy note but i have bought a windows phone 8 (HTC 8X) windows phone still needs a tons of feature and application to be a smart phone, I have been shocked when i read that to add a ringtone i have to connect it to PC and copy my files manually to ringtones folder,I think having a smart phone mean that you will not need your PC any more not like that. but to be fair the performance and smothness is great on Windows phone .

i like nearly all of the configuration on Lumia but only the poor display pixel, 4.3"@800x480, what a stupid design!? Same as Lumia820.
it's not a good idea for people who like surff webs, read or work on this phone.
it's not hardware limits or cost limits, yes? 1024/600 will be more better
